Welcome to MFM Devotional, 31—12—23

PRAISE & WORSHIP:

1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! 
that calls me from a world of care, 
and bids me at my Father’s throne 
make all my wants and wishes known. 
In seasons of distress and grief, 
my soul has often found relief, 
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare 
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer! 

2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! 
the joys I feel, the bliss I share 
of those whose anxious spirits burn 
with strong desires for thy return! 
With such I hasten to the place 
where God my Savior shows his face, 
and gladly take my station there, 
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer! 

3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! 
thy wings shall my petition bear 
to him whose truth and faithfulness 
engage the waiting soul to bless. 
And since he bids me seek his face, 
believe his word, and trust his grace, 
I’ll cast on him my every care, 
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

31—-12—-23 PROPHETIC WORD: Henceforth, your worst days shall turn to your best days, by the power of the God of Elijah, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: LUKE 21: 5-18 [KJV]

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish

31~~~12~~~23 MESSAGE:

Yesterday, we explained that though Jesus affirmed that believers will experience some unpleasant incidents in the last days, He would not leave them fatherless or comfortless. All their unpleasant experiences will turn to glorious testimonies for them.

It means that false Christ will come to deceive people but you will not be deceived. Rather, you will discern the truth and escape the enemy’s snare. There will be wars. Nations will rise against nations and kingdoms rise against kingdoms, just like the current Russia-Ukraine war.

Beloved, you will only hear about it, you will not be a casualty of war. Also, there will be earthquakes, pestilences [COVID monkey pox, etc] but you shall enjoy divine immunity from them.

Lastly, though earthly rulers and kings persecute and imprison you, God will arise for your help and use your deliverance to convert them. These are some of the wonderful ways God will use to turn your unpleasant experience to a great testimony.

Beloved, we are in the last days. Heaven and earth will pass away, but no jot of God’s word will go unfulfilled. The pronouncement of Jesus that unpleasant situations in your life will turn pleasant and that you will be become a living proof of God’s goodness shall be fulfilled, in name of Jesus.

On your part, in order to enjoy the blessings of this prophecy, here are the things you need to do:
[1] Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.
[2] Have faith in God. Without faith, you cannot please God and appropriate His prophecies.
[3] Get the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. The power of God in your life will help you to confront and conquer in the days of tests and trials.
[4] Be an avid reader and doer of God’s word.
[5] Pray without ceasing.
[6] Personally claim this prophacy and promise into your life.

I want you to remember that the Lord who said, “Behold, I am with you always, even to the of the age” is still on the throne and He remains forever faithful.

You will end this year in celebration, in the name of God.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Where is the Lord God of Elijah! Appear and turn my sorrow to joy,  in the name of Jesus.

2. Thank You Lord because Your are with  me always, in the name of Jesus.

3. I receive divine immunity and protection from the peril of the last days, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. O God arise! do something new in my life today,in the name of Jesus.

5. O God who never comes late, appear in my life with Your special blessings now, in the name of Jesus.

6. Any of my blessings that is still withheld in this year, be released unto me now, in the name of Jesus.

7. The miracles that will always make me to remember this year for good, O Heaven, deposit them into my life now, in the name of Jesus.
