Welcome to MFM Devotional, 01~~~01~~~24
PRAISE & WORSHIP:
1 O worship the King all-glorious above,
O gratefully sing his power and his love:
our shield and defender, the Ancient of Days,
pavilioned in splendor and girded with praise.
2 O tell of his might and sing of his grace,
whose robe is the light, whose canopy space.
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
and dark is his path on the wings of the storm.
3 Your bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
it streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
and sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.
4 Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
in you do we trust, nor find you to fail.
Your mercies, how tender, how firm to the end,
our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend!
5 O measureless Might, unchangeable Love,
whom angels delight to worship above!
Your ransomed creation, with glory ablaze,
in true adoration shall sing to your praise!
MEMORY VERSE: Revelation 4:8 –
“And the four beasts had each of them six wings; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying: Holy, Holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
Worship is a practice for eternity. Any man or woman on this earth who is turned off by worship is not ready for heaven.
01~~~01~~~24 PROPHETIC WORD:
As you worship the Lord consistently this year, heaven will break spiritual jars of perfume upon you and your life will become attractive and endearing to all, in the name of Jesus.
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Revelation 4:1-8 [KJV]
4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
01~~~10~~~24 MESSAGE:
Worship is what man is created to do. As believers, our object of worship is exclusivery God. His worship is the preoccupation of the spirit beings in heaven. His throne room sounds of praise and worship. The four living creatures rest not day or night in giving adoration the One who sits on the throne. They proclaim, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is to come” [Revelation 4:8].
Worship is honouring God as the Creator of all things and the Perfect Manager of the whole universe — the only one worthy of all praise. The truth is that many believers are still ignorant of what worship is and this has been preventing them from its numerous benefits completely.
The Bible reveals that the praise and worship of the four living creatures galvanised the twenty-four elders to also worship God with their proclamation, “Thou art worthy O Lord, to receive honour and power, for thou has created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created [Revelation 4: 11].
In Psalm 19:1, the Bible also tells us that creation constantly proclaim the glory of God. Beloved, worship is a weapon to fight and gain sweatless and resounding victory in the battle of life. It is also a key that opens the door to God’s presence and inexhaustible blessings. If is the preoccupation of the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders who are so close to His Throne and Presence, then it ought to be ours too. We, like them are created to worship Him.
Do you want this year to start and end on a glorious note for you? Do you want it to be your best year and be a sweet memorial for you? Do you want to achieve your divine purpose and experience all-round fulfilment this year? If your answers to the foregoing questions are in the affirmative, the key to actualising them is engaging in constant praise and worship of the Almighty God.
You must learn how to worship Him and prioritise it this year. Let your life bring praise, honour and glory to Him always.
This will be your best year ever, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:-
MORNING
1. Father, make me a true worshipper, in the name of Jesus.
2. This year and beyond, I shall make the praise and worship of Jehovah my preoccupation, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, as I worship You today, give me resounding and irreversible victory, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. O God, as I worship You today, let me experience Your intervention and help in all my affairs, in the name of Jesus.
5. My Father, accept my worship and let it open my personal heavens, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God arise, beautify my life with Your glory, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God, as I worship You continually this year, bless me with Your presence and peace, in the name of Jesus.
