UBA wins 2020 BJAN Award

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has won the Financial Sector Most Effective Corporate Communications Professional 2020 in the just concluded annual conference organised by Brands and Marketing journalists under the aegis of Brands Journaliats Association of Nigeria (BJAN).

Hence, the BJAN award committee team in beaming it’s search light into various banks located and picked Mrs Bola Atta, the Group Director, Corporate Communication, UBA for the award.

“Bola Atta is the Group Director, Corporate Communication at UBA Plc, CEO at UBA Foundation and Executive Director, REDTV.”

According BJAN Chairman, Princewill Ekwujuru, the Group Director was picked for award for reaching and also touching lives through a foundation.

Atta beat other nominees to the prize as a result of her impressive contributions at the steer of UBA’s corporate communication with various laudable initiatives that have further increased the bank’s market share and brand presence ahead of competition.

“The UBA Foundation was the first to be establish by a bank in the country. Since it started in 2005, it has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives across the continent by various special projects carried out in various host communities.

“Being a woman committed to the art of charity, especially passion for children, Atta founded Life Stream Charity, an organisation set up to assist under-priviledged children with heart problems.
