Welcome to MFM Devotional, 07/02/23

WORSHIP & PRAISE:

1. “Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

2. Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 07/02/23:
I prophesy that, this year, your life will manifest blessings and glory so much that it will be obvious that God is with you, in the name of Jesus.

Luke 1:26-38(KJV)
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

07/02/23 MESSAGE:
The abiding, indwelling and empowering presence of God in a life makes all the difference that anyone can desire. The Bible reveals one of the names of Jesus Christ as Emmanuel, which means God with us! Jesus had to be with mankind to deal decisively with the problem of sin and save us from it.

Also, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended and began to indwell believers. This also proves that God is with us. As believers, we are carriers of God’s presence, power, grace and glory.

When God is with you and for you, you will triumph in the battles of life and over your enemies. The challenges of life, no matter the guise they take, will not overwhelm you. Beloved, the weapons the enemy hurls at you will not prosper if God is with you and for you.

When God is with you, He will use you as a special vessel to accomplish great and mighty things. In fact, many of the people God chose and used as His purpose partners in the Bible- Joshua, Mary the mother of Jesus, Gideon, etc. – were assured with the words, “God is with you” (Joshua 1:5; Luke 1:28; Judges 6:12).

God was with David and He delivered him from the hand of raging King Saul. He was with Apostle Peter and He delivered him from Herod’s incarceration and the expectation of the enemies of the early church. He was with Apostle Paul and though their ship wrecked, Paul’s life and those of other passengers with him were saved. He was with Daniel and the lions could not kill him. He was with Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego and the fire in the fiery furnace could not hurt them.

When God is with you, He will make impossible situations possible. He will make your Jordan and Red Sea to part; He will make a way in the wilderness for you and provide rivers in your desert.

Beloved, this year, pray that the Lord will be your Shepherd and you will not suffer want. He will be with you in your journey of life and give you rest round about, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS
MORNING
1. Father, be with me in my journey of life and my divine assignment, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, You are the Lord of hosts, be with me and be my refuge, in the name of Jesus.

3. O God, let Your presence in my life make me invincible, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Thou fourth man in the fiery furnace, be with me in my journey this year and beyond, in the name of Jesus.

5. O God, be my shepherd and sufficiency, in the name of Jesus.

6. The Lord is with me; I am highly favoured and highly blessed, in the name of Jesus.

7. I am a candidate of divine immunity because God is with me, in the name of Jesus.
