FIRE SCRIPTURE: Job 1:6-12 (KJV)

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

MEMORY VERSE: “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” – Ecclesiastes 10:8

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES:
God keeps His hedge firmly around covenant keepers and those who walk blameless before Him.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
I DECREE THAT ANY POWER THE ENEMY HAS ASSIGNED TO BREAK THE HEDGE AROUND YOUR LIFE SHALL DIE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

MFM 10/8/22 MESSAGE:

The Bible affirms that there is a hedge of protection put in place by God around every believer. Whether you are aware or this or not, if you are a believer, you have it around you. The purpose of that divine hedge is to shield or protect you from the invasion and attack of the devil and his cohorts (demons and human agents). It is a spiritual guard and covering that ensures your safety. When you have the hedge around you, the enemy will not be able to steal or kill or destroy in your life.

However, it is your responsibility to ensure that the hedge remains intact and unbroken. You should learn and do the things that wIll retain, maintain and sustain the hedge. You should also learn and avoid those things that can break the hedge. The truth is that the consequences of a broken hedge are grave.

The devil knows that the hedge of God is a mark of “touch not’ upon the life of Job. As long as the hedge was intact, Job prospered and his achievements and credentials were both phenomenal and unparalleled in his time. Job himself did not make the mistake that removed his supernatural hedge of protection. It was God that removed it temporarily. The devil told God, “Why won’t Job have all these impressive achievements and be devoted to you when you have hedged him round about?

When the hedge of protection is in place in your life, the Holy Spirit and God’s angels will repel any evil or calamity that the enemy and his cohorts direct your way. You will be miraculously saved from danger and the plans of the enemy for your life will be mysteriously thwarted. Besides, you will dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under His shadow. Day and night, asleep or awake, you will dwell in safety. This honour and privilege are for those who are born again and indwelt by the Spirit of God.

Therefore, in case you are not born again, I advise you to give your life to Jesus Christ now. As you make Him your Lord and Saviour, He will put the hedge of protection and wall of fire around you and become the shining glory in your life.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. I declare that God’s presence and power will not depart from me, in the name of Jesus.

2. The hedge of God around my life will never be broken, in the name of Jesus.

3. Power assigned to breach the hedge of God about my life, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. The mark of “touch not my anointed” upon my life shall not be erased, in the name of Jesus.

5. I reject the life of sin and carelessness, in the name or Jesus.

6. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shelter of the Almighty forever, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, let Your wall of fire be round about me always, in the name of Jesus.
