2023: MY YEAR OF GLORIOUS MANIFESTATION

BIBLE  IN  ONE  YEAR :

MEMORY  VERSE:
1 Samuel 2:8 – He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them.

Samuel Goes to Bethlehem

16 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you feel sorry for Saul? I have rejected him as king of Israel. Fill your horn with oil and go to Bethlehem. I am sending you to Jesse who lives in Bethlehem, because I have chosen one of his sons to be the new king.”

2 But Samuel said, “If I go, Saul will hear the news and try to kill me.”

The Lord said, “Go to Bethlehem. Take a young calf with you and tell them, ‘I have come to make a sacrifice to the Lord.’ 3 Invite Jesse to the sacrifice. Then I will show you what to do. You must anoint the person I show you.”

4 Samuel did what the Lord told him to do and went to Bethlehem. The elders of Bethlehem shook with fear. They met Samuel and asked, “Do you come in peace?”

5 Samuel answered, “Yes, I come in peace. I come to make a sacrifice to the Lord. Prepare yourselves and come to the sacrifice with me.” Samuel prepared Jesse and his sons. Then he invited them to come and share the sacrifice.

6 When Jesse and his sons arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely this is the man who the Lord has chosen.”

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Eliab is tall and handsome, but don’t judge by things like that. God doesn’t look at what people see. People judge by what is on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. Eliab is not the right man.”

8 Then Jesse called his second son, Abinadab. Abinadab walked by Samuel. But Samuel said, “No, this is not the man who the Lord chose.”

9 Then Jesse told Shammah to walk by Samuel. But Samuel said, “No, the Lord did not choose this man, either.”

10 Jesse showed seven of his sons to Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen any of these men.”

11 Then he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”

Jesse answered, “No, I have another son—my youngest, but he is out taking care of the sheep.”

Samuel said, “Send for him. Bring him here. We won’t sit down to eat until he arrives.”

12 Jesse sent someone to get his youngest son. This son was a good-looking, healthy young man. He was very handsome.

The Lord said to Samuel, “Get up and anoint him. He is the one.”

13 Samuel took the horn with the oil in it, and poured the special oil on Jesse’s youngest son in front of his brothers. The Spirit of the Lord came on David with great power from that day on. Then Samuel went back home to Ramah.

MESSAGE for 09/01/23:
Yesterday, we established the fact that God specialises in rewriting histories and changing human stories from negative to positive. We substantiated this truth with lessons from the life of Jabez. Other individuals like Hannah, a prayer warrior, Naaman, the Syrian General, Rahab and Ruth also encountered the Story Changer and Rewriter of History, and their lives never remained the same. God still rules in the affairs of men and changes times and seasons. I pray that you will encounter the same God today, in the Name of Jesus..

Is your life full of pain, failure, shame and sorrow? Is the background of your family one that limits you and encumbers you with deficits, non-achievement, poverty, backwardness and slavery? | have good news for you. God will change your story gloriously and rewrite your family history positively.

The Bible affirms that God also changes the stories of families and rewrites their histories. After Saul had lost the golden opportunity that God provided to rewrite the history of the Kish family, God said to Prophet Samuel, “How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill thine horn with oil, and go, will send thee to Jesse and Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons”.

From the day Prophet Samuel anointed David as king among his brethren, the history of Jesse’s family became rewritten gloriously till today. David went on to become a man after God’s heart, the sweet Psalmist of Israel, the warrior-king that never lost any battle and Israel’s greatest king. Besides, he became a progenitor of Jesus Christ!

Beloved, is your family idolatrous and sinful? Abraham’s and Gideon’s families were. These men yielded their lives to God and became mighty instruments in His hand. In return, God rewrote their family histories gloriously.

Are there traces of collective captivity, failure, barrenness, poverty, sickness, untimely death and so on in your family history dating to many generations? The Ultimate Rewriter of History is ready and willing to help you.

Come to Him, you that labour and are heavy laden. He will change your story and give you rest.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Father, I thank You because You are the God of all possibilities, in the Name of Jesus.

2. O God that changes times and seasons, rewrite the history of my family gloriously, in the Name of Jesus.

3. I command the satanic storm raging against my family to stop now, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. My Father, raise me out of the dust, lift me from the dunghill and set me among princes, senators and presidents, in the Name of Jesus.

5. Father, let Your unusual favour locate my family, in the Name of Jesus.

6. Anointing for supernatural progress and next level achievements, come upon me and my family, in the Name of Jesus.

7. Blood of Jesus, deliver me and my family from foundational pollution and bondage, in the Name of Jesus.
