There seems to form of relief as the three-year-old boy, Olamide Taiwo, who was in a car stolen in the Ikenne area of Ogun State on Saturday has been found in Owode-Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
PUNCH Online reported how a vehicle with a three-year-old boy inside was stolen in Ikenne.
The Toyota Camry car, with registration number PKA 446GV, belongs to one Taiwo Fayobi.
The spokesperson for Ogun State police command, Omolola Odutola, explained that the owner of the car, Fayobi, had come out to open his gate, leaving the engine running, with the three-year-old son inside the car when the daring thieves entered the car and drove away with the toddler.
Giving an update on the incident, Odutola told newsmen in Abeokuta on Sunday that a good Samaritan in Lagos State had found the boy.
“Olamide Taiwo, the three-year-old boy inside the Toyota Camry stolen by two unknown hoodlums, was found by a Good Samaritan in Owode Onirin Ikorodu with the “Ikenne” tag on him.
“The Good Samaritan immediately called DPO Owode. The red Camry has not been found yet,” she said.
