Why MFM in Lagos, Ogun will not open for now- Pastor Bank-Olemoh

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide, Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya has explained the reason why all MFM churches in both Lagos and Ogun States will not open for now.

This statement became imperative, as all churches in Lagos and Ogun States opened for services today, Sunday 9 August 2020 after weeks of lockdown by both federal and state governments, and people would be wondering why MFM buildings are still under lock and keys.

The GO, in the statement by the Chairman of Media and Publicity Committee of the church, Pastor Oladele Bank-Olemoh, said tough preventive measures against spread of COVID-19 must be put in place in all MFM buildings before any of them can be opened.

The statement says: Important announcement,

Dearly Beloved MFM Members,

The Leadership of this Ministry is aware that the governments of Lagos and Ogun States had announced that churches could resume worship in their physical church buildings as from 9th and 16th August, 2020.respectively. However, the Leadership of MFM hereby state as follows:

MFM will not reopen all her regions, zones , branches and facilities in Lagos and Ogun states for now

This period would be utilized to put in place all the necessary COVID -19 preventive and safety protocols as stipulated by the Federal Government, NCDC and State Governments

 MFM would continue to hold her services exclusively on :

• All online platforms on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and on www.mountainoffire.org/messages

Services:

Manna Water Service at 5pm on every Wednesday

Sunday Worship Service at 7am on every Sunday

Power Must Change Hands Prayer Programme at 7am on first Saturday of every month and The Great Physician Hour at 10pm on every Saturday as done in recent months.

4. The tentative date for reopening for physical gatherings is 13th September,2020.
