EARLY BACKGROUND
Dr. Adeyinka Bello-Olarinmoye also known as Iyalode ABO is a true Lagosian. She was born in Lagos, but completed her secondary education at St. Peter’s Unity Secondary School Akure, Ondo State in 1992. She joined her mother in Lagos to run her canteen during the height of the June 12 crisis.

She had the opportunity of getting introduced to the struggle by her mother’s customers, and her passion for the emancipation of the down trodden was awoken. She quickly joined the campaign for democratic rule and took part in demonstrations.

EDUCATION
ABO obtained a Diploma in Computer Science in 1996, from Community Consult, Mushin, Lagos. She was admitted into the University of Ibadan where she proved her mettle in academic work. POLITICAL ACTIVITIES
In 1999, Iyalode got into active politics by joining the Action for Democracy (AD) in the Ilasamaja area of Mushin, Lagos and blossomed into an activist at the University of Ibadan.

It was at the University of Ibadan that her passion for service was brought to the open. She was actively involved with students’ movements. She championed the campaign for ‘Abacha Must Go’ with fellow students in Nigeria and served on occasions on University of Ibadan Students’ Union committees, and transitional/electoral committee of the National Association of Nigerian students (NANS).

She became the youth leader for AD and later the Coordinator for BAT Independent Supporters. She was actively involved in BATCO activities and still represents Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu political interests and school of thought.

ABO is currently the Coordinator for Jagabanists online, BAT is Coming Facebook group, Amazons for ABAT and many more social media outlets for the promotion of Asiwaju’s political interests.

WORK EXPERIENCE
She served the nation in 2002 with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Akure.
Executive Director Centre for Legislative Studies; a Non-Government Organization that deals with the empowerment and advocacy for the Nigeria Legislative Arm of Government.

She saw to the day-to-day running of the organization, giving directives and generating administrative policies from time to time. It was on this platform that she provided the fora for the robust debates of the then president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s Third Term Agenda.
Lecturer in Anthropology, Lagos State University 2009 till date.

POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS HELD
The ICG chairman for Ambode campaign for Igando Ikotun in 2015.
Member of Lagos State APC Screening Committee in 2017.
Lagos State Deputy Coordinator for Buhari/Osinbajo House to House Campaign, 2019.

Female child education
Reduction of post-natal mortality amongst Lagosians.
Child Protection Advocacy
Adeyinka also known as ABO is not just a woman, but one with pedigree. An Africanist, culture activist and a lover of Yoruba traditions. She is a wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She is responsible, amiable, compassionate, capable, trustworthy and above all, a God-fearing person. If given the opportunity to serve, she will do so efficiently.

VOTE for a woman with pedigree who has walked in your footsteps and understand the challenges and pains you feel.
