How can we get revival?

Last week, we learnt that revival is for believers alone. It is for those that have already surrendered their lives to Christ by being born again.

However, for anyone that is yet to accept Christ as Lord and personal saviour to join in this topic, revival, such a person must first acknowledge himself as a sinner because the Holy Bible makes us to know that we are all sinners, for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God- Rom 3 verse 23.

And also, the  Lord Jesus, in John 3: 5 says, “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Proverb says, “He that covereth his sin shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and foresaketh them shall have mercy.”

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”-Romans 6 verse 23.

Thus, any one that is not yet a friend of God through repentance and accepting Jesus as Lord, cannot take part in revival.

To get fire of revival:

We need to cry out to God to revive us again (Psalm 85.). When David was in the wilderness, he cried in Psalm 63: 1-2), “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.”

We need to long and thirst for the word of God. The word of God is the means by which God makes himself known to us, declares his will and brings about his purposes. His word is powerful and totally dependable. It penetrates any stony or stubborn heart to find joy and rejoicing in it (Hebrew 4:12).

We need a pure, dedicated, willing and a clean heart (Psalm 51: 10; Ezekiel 36:26).Fill your heart with the word of God. The Lord has already promised that he will regenerate your life and make you a new creature and that he will heal your heart (Psalm 147: 3; Matthew 4: 18).

O Lord my Father, help me to win every battle of the mind, in the name of Jesus

O Lord, le the fire of revival be ignited in my spirit, in the name of Jesus.

O Lord, let my life promotes your revival agenda in this end time, in the name of Jesus.
