BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 60: 1
“Arise, shine; for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
Until you rise to the assignment the Lord has committed inte you hands, living in His will and fulfiting the purpose for which He created you, you will struggle to SHINE!

24/4/24 PROPHETIC WORD:
Jesus is light. So, as you stand with Him, you shine!

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 60: 1-3

24 APRIL MESSAGE:

The only solution to darkness is light. The third verse ef our Fire Scripture  clearly states that darkness covered the earth and gross darkness was on the people in this earth. Darkness is a symbol of sin and evil. Living in sin is equivalent to walking in darkness.

So when God thought of who could save the world from this darkness, He created you. He created you to be a solution to this global problem. He created you to light up the whole earth by leading people not only to safety but to the arms of Jesus.

However, it is so sad that the light of many has not found expression to shine. Matthew 5:14 says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

You are a global solution and you were made to have dominion with Christ over sin and death. You were  created to shine as light. Your light must not be locked up on your inside. Light symbolises authority and dominion. The greater your light finds expression, the higher the ability you have to walk in authority and dominion.

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

You need to arise and let your light shine brightly through the darkness in the world. Here are three practical steps to let your light shine:
(1) Surrender your life, will and decisions to Jesus. In John 8: 12 Jesus said, “l am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
(2) Pray that the Lord light up your path so you can know areas through which you can be a light to your world (Job 22.28).
(3) Shine your light; be a solution through your giving, you talent, your evangelism (Isaiah 58:7-8).

Beloved, I enjoin you to heed the call of heaven to arise and shine. It is a command that you take your place in destiny. Use your time, talent and treasure to glorify God. Serve God wholeheartedly, win souls for Him and disciple those souls.

Let your life advertise the power and glory of the living and loving God.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Father, thank You for creating me to be a light in this world, in the name of Jesus.

2. Lord, I confess and forsake every sin that dims my tight, in the name of Jesus.

3, Father, shine Your light on me and grant me the grace to stand as LIGHT, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. In the name of Jesus, I come against every authority that tries to extinguish my fire and dim my light, in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, in the powerful name of Jesus, I ask that my light shine brightly in the midst of others, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord, in the name of Jesus, let Your glory shine in my life, in the name of Jesus.

7. O Lord,  light my lamp and enlighten my darkness, in the name of Jesus.
