TOPIC FOR TODAY: 26-8-21: Qualified for a miracle?

By Pastor E. A Adeboye, President, Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.

MEMORISE: Matthew 15:28

“Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.”

READ: Matthew 15:22-28 (KJV)

22. And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23. But he answered her not a word. And
his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27. And she said, Truth, Lord; yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.

28. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

The simple explanation for a miracle is that it is a supernatural event that does not follow the laws of nature, to favour a person. To be a candidate for a miracle, the first qualification is that such a fellow must be a carrier of the Living God.

He or she must be a child of God. God created man in His own image. The Bible says in Genesis 1:27:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

When the carrier of God’s image – man, got entangled with sin, he needed to be restored and the only One who could do this was God Himself. God achieved the restoration through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

For us to be partakers of this miracle of redemption, we must believe Him to access His power (John 1:11-12). Beloved, you simply cannot partake of the miraculous without belonging to the Miracle-Worker!

Do you desire a miracle? You must be born again. Why? Jesus Christ said it clearly that miracles are children’s bread; you can’t have them until you become a child of God (Matthew 15:22-28).

My prayer is that you will give your life over to the Miracle-Worker if you haven’t done that already, so that you too can begin to experience miracles from now. If you are already a child of God, then you are already qualified for a miracle, as long as you are living by His word.

Another thing that can qualify you for a miracle is faith. Jesus commended the faith of the woman and she got what she needed. I encourage you to come to God in faith today and those intimidating situations in your life shall become history in Jesus’ name.

Has the doctor said the baby in that womb is dead and must be evacuated? I speak to that baby now to receive the life of God, in Jesus’ name. That part of your body that is suffering from paralysis must receive the life of God now, in the mighty name of Jesus.

I stand by the word of God in Romans 8:11 and declare “…if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Receive your miracle now, in the mighty name of Jesus!

ACTION POINT: Father, I believe you are the Miracle-Working God. Please give me a miracle today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalms 140-142

Beloved Reader, the best way to enjoy best of God is to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord & Saviour.  And remember! John 3:3 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless ye are born again, ye cannot see the kingdom of God.”

If you are ready to give your life to Christ Jesus, please pray the displayed prayer below in faith:

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I confess all my sin, have mercy on me, forgive me all my sin. Lord Jesus come into my life. I accept You as my Lord and Personal Saviour. I believe in my heart You died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You Lord for saving me, in Jesus name Amen.

Beware! This Scripture: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold,” Matt 24:12, is being fulfilled in our time. Our prayer is: any power or any problem that will kill our love for God, blood of Jesus will destroy and flush them away from us, in Jesus name.

Good Day, we cherish your presence here. Thank you for your comments, observations, feedbacks and time spent on this platform.

Beloved! We are in perilous time when kidnappings, banditry and other vices have become daily occurrences. But the Lord is saying, fear not, be bold & be courageous!

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you shall not be a victim to whatever calamity flying around by day and by night, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
