Topic for Sunday 7:2: 21: How to activate favour in your life 2

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: The garment and aroma of favour are magnets that attract the best things of heaven and the earth.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: What your labour cannot achieve for you in years, God’s favour will give it to you today, in the name of Jesus.

In our earlier discourse, it was established that God’s favour is reserved for the righteous (His children). You can only be righteous by becoming a born again Christian. Similarly, loving Christ Jesus in sincerity, sowing into other people’s lives, especially those who are favoured by God, were identified as ways by which a believer can unlock God’s favour for his life. We will continue this discourse by looking at other ways by which we can activate favour in our lives.

You can unlock God’s favour by being righteous, blameless and faithful. These attributes were found in the life of Noah, Joseph and Daniel. The Bible says that though wickedness pervaded the whole world so much that it grieved God’s heart, Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation and he walked with God (Genesis 6:9). The result of this testimony about Noah was that he found grace (favour) with God (Genesis 6:8). In these last days, filled with sins, crookedness and perversion, if you live a righteous and faithful life, you will continuously be an object of God’s favour (Psalm 5:12).

Another key to unlock God’s favour with is obedience. Living a life of obedience means you do whatever God says promptly completely and unquestioningly. God favours those who are careful to obey Him. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thyGod.”

Finally, you can activate or unlock God’s favour by partnering with God in Kingdom building. Believers who commit their lives and resources to soul winning, God’s heartbeat, giving generously to Kingdom projects (missions, church planting, Bible production and distribution, crusades and spread of the gospel, and so on) will attract heaven’s attention and favour.

Beloved, the favour of God will work for you all the days of your life as you heed and use the useful hints. Henceforth, you will walk in God’s favour!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. My Father, the set time to favour me is now. Grant me favour by fire, in the name of Jesus.

2. Rain of mercy and favour, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, as I labour in Your kingdom, let the heaven of favour open unto me, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Father, replace my labour with favour, in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, give me the grace to walk with You righteously and experience Your favour, in the name of Jesus.

6. My Father, clothe me with the garment of favour, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, by Your favour, change my story to glory, in the name of Jesus.
