PRAISE & WORSHIP:
Christ is our cornerstone,
on him alone we build;
with his true saints alone
the courts of heav’n are filled.
On his great love our hopes we place
of present grace and joys above.
2 Here may we gain from heav’n
the grace which we implore,
and may that grace, once giv’n,
be with us evermore
until that day when all the blest
to endless rest are called away.
3 Oh, then, with hymns of praise
these hallowed courts shall ring;
our voices we will raise
the Three in One to sing
and thus proclaim in joyful song,
both loud and long, that glorious name.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Acts 8:9-13
10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 APRIL MESSAGE:
Beloved, God is not happy with many people because they are not walking in the way He wants them to walk. Some people are in places where their destinies are wasting away and they do not see anything wrong with the kind of life they are living.
Many are not up to the standards that God has set for them. Those who are expected to be spiritually matured are still babies and pick offense when things they are supposed to ignore are done to them.
In verse 10 of our scriptures, the Bible has this to say, “To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” That verse of the Scripture reveals the display of a bewitching power or personality.
He was a blind man leading the blind, but they never realised it, until the fire of revival went through the city of Samaria. They say in the town of the blind, the one-eyed man is always the king. That was the case of this people of Samaria.
What is bewitchment? It means to allow yourself to be controlled, influenced and dominated by witchcraft spiritually. It is to have spell cast on someone, thereby getting remote-controlled by another to do what he or she would not do ordinarily.
People do all sorts of things to bewitch others: cutting the tip of people’s clothes and taking it to evil altars in order to afflict them. Stealing people’s pictures, taking it to strange places just to be able to dominate or control them.
We have heard of great men, captains of industries and great players in the economy of nations leaving their wives and going away with strange women, because they do not have the fire of God to counter the spirit and power of bewitchment.
I pray that the snare of the fowler will never catch you, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. I set every snare set for me ablaze, in the name of Jesus.
2. l overcome bewitchment by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
3. Blood of Jesus, avail and prevail for me, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. My spirit man, receive fire and reject bewitchment, in the name name of Jesus.
5. Strong man of bewitchmentin my father’s house, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. No weapon of bewitchment shall prosper in my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. Power assigned to bewitch my name, die, in the name of Jesus.
