FIRE SCRIPTURE: Genesis 18:1-10 (KJV)

1 And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

POWER ASSIGNED TO SCUTTLE DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES IN YOUR LIFE SHALL DIE BY FIRE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

01-03-23 MESSAGE:

Life has presented great opportunities to some people but they repeatedly missed them. Some were opportunities to get married to good suitors, win souls for God, get good jobs, get promotion, get business, wealth, healing, deliverance and other changes in fortune. Some of these opportunities came directly while some came disguised. The bottom line is that the person kept missing them.

It is a terrible thing to be a victim of the spirit called ‘opportunity waster.’ Men and women who constantly waste divine opportunities never become truly great, successful and fulfilled. Also such people never end well in life. Every believer should pray the spirit that wastes opportunities out of his or her life.

When God wants to bless His children, He presents them with opportunities. Sometimes, such opportunities are open and clear while at other times, they are not. The believer has to discern and utilise them. One good opportunity a person avails himself of, can change his fortune and rewrite his history. Similarly, a missed divine opportunity could mean a life of doom and misery or falling from grace to grass.

To avail yourself of a divine opportunity requires that you cooperate with heaven and follow divine instructions for your life in a given situation that is meant to produce your positive change. Abraham did not miss his divine opportunity. When God told him to leave his country and family for a land He would show him, the patriarch obeyed. That was an opportunity to begin a life- changing relationship with God that would positively define and impact his life forever.

One day, while sitting under the tree of Mamre, Abraham had three visitors to whom he showed great hospitality. Through discernment, he recognised that they were heavenly beings and did not miss a great opportunity to be blessed. The heavenly visitors terminated age-long barrenness in the life of Sarah and their long-awaited promised child was born through their declaration, (Genesis 18:10).

Beloved, utilising divine opportunities has the power to change your story to glory. All you need to do is to become a friend of God by giving your life to Jesus Christ. You also need to have discernment in order to recognise the opportunities when they arise.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Powers assigned to waste my divine opportunities, die now, in the name of Jesus.

2. O God, by Your mercy, redeem all the divine opportunities that I have lost, in the name of Jesus.

3. O God, give me the spirit to discern and utilise divine opportunities, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Divine opportunities that will make me great, appear in my life now, in the name of Jesus.

5. Powers that want to confine me to the valley of failure, you are liars, die, in the name of Jesus.

6. Powers stealing my divine opportunities and blessings, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

7. My Father, open my eyes to see divine opportunities that belong to me, in the name of Jesus.
