WORSHIP & PRAISE:
1 Let us, with a gladsome mind,
praise the LORD, for He is kind:
for His mercies shall endure,
ever faithful, ever sure.

2 Let us blaze His Name abroad,
for of gods He is the God:

3 He with all-commanding might
filled the new-made world with light:

His full hand supplies their need:

18/4/23 PROPHETIC WORD.
The power to overcome fear come upon you today, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 43:2-5 [KJV]

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

2 When you have troubles, I am with you. When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not hurt you.

3 That’s because I, the Lord, am your God. I, the Holy One of Israel, am your Savior. I gave Egypt to pay for you. I gave Ethiopia and Seba to make you mine.

4 You are precious to me, and I have given you a special place of honor. I love you. That’s why I am willing to trade others, to give up whole nations, to save your life.

5 “So don’t be afraid, because I am with you. I will gather your children and bring them to you. I will gather them from the east and from the west

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Kings 9-11; Matthew 5-6

18-04-23 MESSAGE:
We started looking at the comforting word from God that says, “Fear not”. We face many trials as human beings and these can bring a lot of fear into our hearts. Sometimes, you may not know what to do, but the word of God for you is “Fear not. “Isaiah 41:8-10 highlighted reasons you should live life free from fear.

First you need not to fear because God’s presence is with you. Isa.41:10 says, “Fear thou not for I am with thee. Beloved, If God is with you, who can be against you? God’s presence is always with you need not fear.

Secondly, God has established a relationship with you. The same Isa. 41:10 says: “I am thy God.” If God is your God, beloved, you have everything. He has never failed and He will never fail or let you down. He is not a man that will promise heaven and earth, but when troubles come, He will back out.

Thirdly, He said, “I will strengthen thee.” Instead of leaving you to your troubles, He said, He will give you strength to overcome the storms of life. In Kings 19:1-8, when Jezebel threatened Elijah’s life, he fled, but God appeared and strengthened him in verse 5-8. Elijah went in the strength of the angelic food for forty days and forty nights. That same God is still alive and He is ready to strengthen you if you allow Him. God’s assurance of strength, help and victory over fear is certain.

The fourth reason why you should not fear is that God promised to uphold you with
His right hand of righteousness (Vs.10). The fifth reason is that God promised to help you. Isaiah 41:10 says, “I will help thee.”

In Matthew 14:28-31, when Pater was about to sink because of fear, he cried unto Jesus and Jesus stretched forth His hands to help him. So also beloved, cry out to God in the face of whatever you are going through and He will bring you out of the sinking boat in your life.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. My life, depart from the market square of fear, in the name of Jesus.

2. Faith-destroying demons, depart from my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. My soul, body and spirit, receive divine touch of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

EVENING
1. My life shall not be anchored to evil, in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Lord, arise and let my enemies scatter, in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. I break every soul tie with the power of darkness, in the name of Jesus Christ.

4. Holy Spirit, strengthen me in the inner man, in the name of Jesus Christ.
