WORSHIP & PRAISE
WILL YOUR ANCHOR HOLD
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,
When the clouds unfold their wings of strife?
When the strong tides lift, and the cables strain,
Will your anchor drift or firm remain? We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Stedfast and sure while the billows roll,
Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,
Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.

2 It is safely moored, ’twill the storm withstand,
For ’tis well secured by the Savior’s hand;
And the cables passed from His heart to mine,
Can defy the blast, through strength divine.

3 It will firmly hold in the straits of fear,
When the breakers have told the reef is near;
Though the tempest rave and the wild winds blow,
Not an angry wave shall our bark o’erflow.

4 It will surely hold in the floods of death,
When the waters cold chill our latest breath;

While our hopes abide within the veil

19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

6 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

18/5/23 MESSAGE:
Who is your anchor? Who are you holding unto? Who do you run to when the chips are down? As believers, we have a sure anchor that can never fail in Jesus Christ our Saviour. Some people see men as their last resort. This should not be. Jesus should be our resort all the time.

He is our unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past appearances, right to the very presence of God. Christ in us is the hope of glory, our eternal High Priest who can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities.

All other persons and things may let you down but Jesus never disappoints. He will not disappoint you, in the name of Jesus. Do you know Him? Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour? You need Jesus in the boat of your life because when He is in it, no matter how the enemy rages, no matter the storms, you are covered. Only those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under His shadows.

The anchors of the world’s super powers are beginning to fail them. Alot of people have dipped their hands in dirty and occult practices in search of cover, all to no avail. They end up frustrated and dejected. Some have even lost their lives in the process.

A life without Christ is a shattered dream. Jesus Christ is the answer to all of man’s troubles. You can never go wrong with God. Surrender your life to Him today and see how peaceful life can be in the midst of chaos.

We are in the last hours of the last days and lots of distractions are out there to make the believers lose focus, thereby falling from grace. The devil is raging to drag as many people as possible to hell. Amidst all the distractions, I want to encourage you to continue to hold unto God’s unchanging hands, build your hope on things of etemal value.

Do not trade your salvation for anything. My prayer is that none of us will slip from His hands, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING

1. I shall not be moved, in the name of Jesus.

2. I shall not depart from the faith, in the name of Jesus.

3. I shall not derail from the path of life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I distract my distractions, in the name of Jesus.

5. I shall not be a misfired arrow, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord Jesus, increase my faith, in the name of Jesus.

7. Lord Jesus, hide me in the shadow of Your wings, in the name of Jesus.
