PRAISE & WORSHIP
1 Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us

all our weakness thou dost know;

6/8/23 MESSAGE:
Bible characters that are regarded as heroes and heroines served conscientiously as heaven’s change agents. They dot the pages of the Old and New Testaments: Noah, Abraham, David, Deborah, Esther, Jesus, Peter and Paul. Our fire scripture affirms that Deborah was an agent of transformation or change. Judges 5:6 (MSG) reads, “In the time of Shamgar son of Anath, and in the time of Jael, Public roads were abandoned, travelers went by backroads.” At this time, we can see how situations had turned everyone in Israel into cowards.

The enemy had so overpowered them that even the men of war were scared, and nobody could walk freely again because of the insecurity and terrorism posed by their enemies. Fear had gripped every soul; their mouths had been shut and they had been hands tied by the enemy of their souls.

It then seemed that everyone had adjusted to living a low life of fear and torment in their fatherland. They had accepted it as their fate. But this would not continue for long because someone took it upon herself to the challenge the status quo. “The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that arose a mother in Israel” (Judges 5:7 KJV).

Deborah, a woman of an uncommon purpose, chose to stand up to fight for the freedom of Israel when even men were afraid to step out. She could not condone the nonsense of the enemies again. She could not stand by and watch the heritage of the Lord put to perpetual bondage.

She could not fold her arms and continue to adjust to a life of captivity and torture. She AROSE a mother in Israel to change and transform her territory. And when she arose, others were encouraged to also rise and fight. Her rising brought nosmall victory to Israel in her days.

There are families and nations that have been sold out to the devil and everyone is following the same evil pattern of horror. The mistress of witchcraft has sold many families into years of captivity (Nahum 3:4). Until a Deborah arise, such families will crawl from cradle to unknown graves living a life of misery.

Won’t you rise and be a Deborah for your family today to deliver them from the stronghold that has held all of you bound for years? Or will you continue to watch the enemy reduce the stars of your lineage to nothing?

Beloved, you cannot continue to sit still because when everybody sits still and does nothing, everyone dies like chickens. Make up your mind not to continue the evil flow. Challenge the status quo, put a stop to evil pattern, command salvation and deliverance upon your territory and let not the unbom children in your family meet a deficit.

Let it be that people in your sphere of influence will experience joy and transformation because of you. Remember, some people will never rise in life until you have risen.

This morning I challenge you; rise and bea Deborah!!!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. O God, arise and make me an agent of transformation, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father Lord, empower me to be an agent of deliverance in my family, in the name of Jesus.

3. I shall not be a victim of the enemy’s change, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Every evil power that has sold off my family, release us and die, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every evil covenant and transaction that has kept my family tree in bondage, break now by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

6. The mystery of witchcraft holding my family captive, the blood of Jesus is against you, die, in the name of Jesus.

7. Glory of my family and lineage, arise and shine, in the name of Jesus.
