PRAISE & WORSHIP:
1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
the joys I feel, the bliss I share
of those whose anxious spirits burn
with strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
where God my Savior shows his face,
and gladly take my station there,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I’ll cast on him my every care,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
The major reason for weak prayer lies is the neglect of God’s word.
3~~12~~23 PROPHETIC WORD:
Henceforth, the power in God’s word will make you prevail continuously in prayer, in the name of Jesus.
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 4:1-11
1Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
MFM is full of Loving and Happy People. But if for one reason or another you are not able to see such people within or around you, then, you can make yourself the change AGENT by being the instrument of love, trust.
3~~12~~MESSAGE:
Prayer is the greatest wonder-working force on planet earth. Today, we will learn one more tool you need for a prevailing prayer life.
The fifth tool you need for a life of effective and prevailing prayer is the word of God. As a believer, God’s word has an essential role to play in all aspects of your prayer life. Prayer and the word of God are interrelated. The God who hears prayer is the God of the Bible.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the word and prayer. So, it is very important to arm and equip yourself with the word of God in the place of prayer so as to get the best result. The truth is that the strength of your communion with God depends on how richly His word dwells in you.
Your praise, worship and prayer must be word-based to yield the best dividend. The major reason for weak prayer lives is a neglect of God’s word. Therefore, if you want your prayer life to be strong, effective and prevailing, you must constantly feed on the word of God and quote it relevantly when you pray. Jesus quoted the Scriptures on several occasions.
In Matthew 27:46, He quoted from Psalm 22:1; in John 15:25, He quoted from Psalm 35:19 and Psalm 69:4; in John 13:18, He quoted from Psalm 41:9 and in Matthew 23:39 from Psalm 118:20. He also quoted from Deuteronomy 8:3 and defeated the tempter by pointing to the important role of the word.
Our Royal Master, Jesus Christ. further underscored the essential role of the word of God in believers’ prayer in John 15:7. He said, “If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” This Scripture shows that getting answers to your prayer is closely related to living in God’s word.
The Bible buttressed this point when it says in the Psalms that angels of the LORD excel in strength, do His commandments and hearken to the voice of His word (Psalm 103:20).
Beloved, I counsel you to massively incorporate God’s word into your spiritual life. You will have the spiritual power to prevail in prayer and spiritual warfare.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Father, let Your word dwell richly in me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let Your word produce great fruits in my prayer life, in the name of Jesus.
3. I declare that God’s word is my spiritual food, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I declare that God’s word is my patent weapon in spiritual warfare, in the name of Jesus.
5. The word of God is like fire in my mouth. Today, I use it to destroy the enemy and his host, in the name of Jesus.
6. The word of God is a hammer in my hand. I use to break the works of darkness in pieces, in the name of Jesus.
7. I take the sword of the Spirit and cut the chains of the oppressor in pieces, in the name of Jesus.
