Welcome to MFM Devotional, 07/01/23WORSHIP & PRAISE;
1. Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save me from its guilt and power.

2. Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All could never sin erase,
Thou must save, and save by grace.

3. Nothing in my hands I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress,
Helpless, look to Thee for grace:

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 35:1-7 (NIV)

35 The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus,

2 it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
they will see the glory of the Lord,
the splendor of our God.

3 Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way;

your God will come,

Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.

7 The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.

Today, the One who calls the things that be not as if they were, will usher you into abundance, comfort and peace, in the Name of Jesus.

07/01/23 MESSAGE;
We serve a covenant-keeping God whose words and promises never fail. It is disheartening that many believers live as if they are Fatherless; they suffer avoidable hardship and needless pain because of their failure to learn, claim and appropriate the promises of God. One of such numerous promises is our topic today: “I Will Turn the Wilderness to a Pool of Water”.

It is true that the lives of many people today as well as their situation in career, business, finances, marriage and ministry are desert-like. A desert is a place of dryness, lack of water and vegetation, a desolate place, a place of abandonment, and a place of hardship and pain.

Though it is an unpleasant and undesirable place to be, that is where many people have found themselves today. The painful thing is that many of such people do not know what to do to have a change of fortune. They need divine intervention!

One of the ways God intervenes and changes people’s situation for good is by speaking His Word into their situation.

Dearly beloved, that is what God has done concerning your situation through our memory verse today. The same God said, “Let there be light” and light, order and beauty replaced darkness, chaos and gloom in the universe. By His declaration in Isaiah 41:18 (our memory verse), He has also spoken fruitfulness, abundance, blessings, breakthroughs and prosperity into your life.

Do you want to see the fulfilment of this exceeding great and precious promise in your life this year? If your answer is in the affirmative, here are the essential steps you need to take:
(1) Give your life to Jesus Christ and become a child of God. This will entitle you to the spiritual and physical blessings of God as well as this particular promise.

(2) Have faith in God and His unfailing ability to fulfil His Word or promise. With these, the dry season in your life will be terminated and hardship will become a thing of the past to you.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Father, I claim Your promise to turn my wilderness to a pool of water, in the Name of Jesus.

2. Father, by Your mercy, terminate dryness and desert-like experience in all areas of my life, in the Name of Jesus.

3. Blessed Holy Spirit, visit me with Your comforting ministry, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Father, speak Your Word into my situation and turn my night to day, in the Name of Jesus.

5. O God, speak Your Word into my situation. Turn my parched ground to a pool and my thirsty land to springs of water, in the Name of Jesus.

6. Curses and evil covenants assigned to make my life a wilderness, break by fire, in the Name of Jesus.

7. Father, by Your intervention, I receive the grace to flourish like the palm tree, in the Name of Jesus.
