BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Job 30 -31; Acts 14 – 15.

WORSHIP & PRAISE:
1  If ye then with Christ be risen,
Seek those things which are above;
Putting off all wrath and malice,
Walk with Him in perfect love.
Lay aside all strife and envy,

None who cling to aught that’s sinful

2 If we’re in the Spirit living,

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Esther 4:15-17, 5:1-5 {KJV}

15 Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,

16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

17 So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.

Esther 5:1-5 {KJV}

Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

5 Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

05|06|23 MESSAGE:
Another benefit of fasting is that it makes one to receive divine favour in the sight of all. Fasting paves way for one to be favoured. In today’s fire scripture, the law of the land stipulated that Esther must wait for the king to call her or send for her, but she went into three days’ dry fast and put her faith into operation.

She came out to see the king without minding the consequences and she received the “come along, by holding out the scepter to her.” Esther 5:2 says, “And it was so, when the King saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hands. So, Esther drew near, and touched the top of the scepter.”

Dearly beloved, what would have resulted in instant death turned out to be the point of life and divine favour. Are you in any situation that is not working out the way you want? Are you the best in your office, but the most persecuted?

Are you the only one that is getting result in your place of work and yet you are the most insulted person there? Why not go back to God in fasting and prayer and pray out the spirit of hatred and rejection from your life. God is a God of favour. If you ask Him to favour you, you will not miss out again on favour. Do you know that favour is to be treated with partiality and special treatment?

Every child of God deserves to be treated specially as if they are the only one on ground. Dear reader of this devotional, fasting can put you in the room of favour where everything will begin to work for your good anywhere you find yourself.

God is expecting you to ask for special favour from Him and He will decorate your life with favour.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Power of heavenly favour, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

2. Spirit of excellence, rest upon me, in the name of Jesus.

3. Power to be wiser than my enemies, come into my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Thou Herod of our house, release my star and die, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every Pharaohic taskmaster, die, in the name of Jesus.

6. Favour and grace that conquer all, come into my life, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God, arise and promote me beyond human comprehension, in the name of Jesus.
