PRAISE & WORSHIP:

1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
the joys I feel, the bliss I share
of those whose anxious spirits burn
with strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
where God my Savior shows his face,
and gladly take my station there,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,

01~~12~~23 PROPHETIC  WORD:
By righteousness and unwavering faith, you will enjoy the wonders and fruits of prayer, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Mark 11:12-24
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

01~~12~~23 MESSAGE:

As a New Testament believer today, there are still a lot to learn on prayer. The more knowledge you have about prayer and the more you pray, the more of its benefits heaven will release to you. For your prayer to be effective and prevailing, there are some tools that you need to possess. We shall examine them one after another.

The first tool is righteousness. You must be born again, have right standing with God and live consistently in His will for your prayers to produce amazing results.

The Bible affirms that the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are always open to their cry. The word of God also says that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous. availeth much (James 5:16). Those who eschew sin and embrace holiness as well as complete obedience will always have great testimonies in the place of prayer.

The second tool you need for your prayer to be effective and prevailing is faith. The Bible says that it is impossible to please God without faith. The truth is that faith occupies a central positioning God’s kingdom. It is the courageous trust in the ability of God to do all things, including what you desire. The word of God affirms that all things are possible to those who have faith.

Beloved, your must have faith that produces miracles and testimonies now, not later. One of Lazarus’ sisters would have missed the miracle Jesus performed in raising Lazarus if not for the mercy of God. She said that if Jesus had arrived earlier, Lazarus, would not have died and that He would raise Lazarus on the last day. Her faith was not activated for receiving the miracle of raising Lazarus to life there and then. It was tied to a later date or many years to come. She was wrong!

Always put your faith to work and have positive expectation as the woman with the issue of blood did. Faith is the essential spiritual tool for the change you desire. The Bible says, “If you have faith and do not doubt, you will say to this mountain, be removed and be cast in to the sea and you will have what you say” (Matthew 21:21).

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Father, make me an ardent lover and doer of Your word, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, let Your word transform my prayer life, in the name of Jesus.

3. Henceforth, I shall prevail in prayer by the power of God’s word, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Father, give me faith and let me help others find it, in the name of Jesus.

5. I destroy the power of sin and claim the fruits of prayer, in the name of Jesus.

6. I have received the grace of God and the gift of righteousness. Therefore, I shall prevail in prayer, in the name of Jesus.

7. Enemies of effective and prevailing prayer in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
