TOPIC FOR TODAY 15-1-22: Reward of faith 3

MEMORY VERSE:  1 PETER 1:8  Whom having not seen, ye love in whom though now ye see him not, yet believing ye rejoice with Joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Prophetic word:  Today, I prophesy that God will bless you with the gift of faith, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 20: 14-31

MESSAGE for Saturday 15 January:

Faith in God will give you the conviction to share His word. 2 Cor. 4:13 says, ” We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”

Beloved the grace, power and conviction to share the gospel and win souls for the Lord comes from the Holy Spirit as a result of the work of faith. It was the faith at work in Philip that enabled him to respond to the instruction of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel with the Ethiopian eunuch and to win his soul.

In addition, faith in God will give you spiritual strength. On this, Psalm 27:3; says, “Though an host should encamp against, me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.” The same truth about faith giving you access to divine strength is noted in Psalm 31:24, Isaiah 30:15 and 1 John 5:4. You will do well to read and meditate on these verses.

The Bible affirms that faith in God gives the believer stability. 2 Chr. 20:20 records this valid point, ” And they rose early in the morning, and went forth Into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, Co Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” Beloved, faith in God keeps you grounded, established and standing in the Lord.

Faith in God is a major source of joy for every true believer. •Neh. 8:10 affirms that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Ps. 33:21 says this, “For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” Even Ps 146:5 adds; “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”

Beloved, this year, specially ask God for the gift of faith, a mountain-moving and testimony- producing faith. I pray that your faith in God will bring forth good reports and make you a bigger bundle of testimonies than you were in the years gone by, in the name of Jesus.

MORNING

1. !receive the faith that moves mountains, in the name of Jesus.

2. My Father, release upon me the faith that produces miracles and testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord, increase and strengthen my faith, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I shall not be ashamed because I have faith in God, in the name of Jesus.

5. O God of all possibilities, appear in my situation, in the name of Jesus.

6. I receive the grace to demonstrate unwavering faith in God to the end, in the name of Jesus.

7. I overcome unbelief and discouragement, in the mighty name of Jesus.
