MFM MESSAGE for 8-6-22:

The word “salvation” comes from a Greek word “soteria” which means deliverance from sin and salvation from evil. It is the same as redemption. Man cannot save himself from sin or deliver himself from evil. Man needed God to rescue him from sin and evil. As a result, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save man from sin.

Salvation is the work of God that sets human beings in right relationship with Him and with one another. What we are being saved from are broken relationships with God and with other people that unleash the evil forces of sin and death in the world. Salvation is first of all the healing of broken relationships, beginning with the healing that reconciles the Creator and the created, God and you. Your reconciliation with God leads to freedom from sin and a newness of life that is not limited by death.

You were reconciled to God through the death of His Son. Salvation is the best gift to a lost soul and until you are born again, you cannot have access to heaven and nothing can save a man outside of Christ. JESUS IS THE SOURCE OF OUR ETERNAL LIFE and until you accept Him, life will be full of crisis. You cannot understand God through human thinking, but through Jesus Christ.

Salvation is personal; you must repent and believe the good news. You must confess and repent of all the sins you have committed in the past.

Beloved, there is no other name under heaven by which you or any other mortal can be saved except the name of Jesus Christ. No man shall enter heaven except he is born again. Your status as a child of a great man or woman of God will not qualify you to make heaven. Your closeness to your pastor will not either.

Genuine salvation entails saying farewell to satan, sin and the world and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. It is the key to living a victorious and fruitful life on earth and reigning with the Lord in heaven. It is the greatest miracle!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. My Father, restore unto me the joy of Your salvation, in the name of Jesus.

2. O Lord, uphold me with Your free Spirit, in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, deliver me from blood guiltiness, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Father, cast me not away from Your presence, in the name of Jesus.

5. My Father, take not Your Holy Spirit from me, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord, create in me a clean heart, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, renew a right spirit within me, in the name of Jesus.
