WELCOME to MFM Devotional, 26/07/22

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Luke 13:6-9

Matthew 3:10-“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
YOU SHALL NOT END YOUR JOURNEY IN HELL FIRE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

The MESSAGE:
These are the last days and the Bible makes us to understand that part of the signs of the last days is that the enemy of man’s soul is going to be much more horrible and wicked. The Bible says that evil men shall wax stronger and stronger. Therefore, in this age of so much spiritual contamination, it is important for every believer to know how to deliver himself and how to help others.

When the seed of God’s word is sown into a heart, two things can happen: it can either grow or be killed. If God’s word grows in a person, then he will blossom into a heaven-bound Christian and even be a blessing to others. On the other hand, if the devil’s seed grows in a person, he will receive the devil’s nature and grow to live for the devil.

It is sad that the enemy has planted unprofitable seeds in many lives, homes, businesses, families and ministries. This has been done a long time ago, and it is the result that now manifests through the noticeable plants.

If an evil plant is already growing in a person’s life, the Bible recommends three things that can be done to salvage the situation: 1. Uproot. 2. Cut it. 3. Burn it with fire (Matthew 3:10).

But you may wonder why a person who is born again can still harbour evil seeds which grow into evil plants. The reason is that there are some born again Christians who are either spiritually dead or asleep. And evil seeds will thrive in either of these lives.

Examples of these kinds of people are sinners, backsliders, carnal Christians, haters of knowledge and pleasure seekers. If, as a believer, you belong to any of these categories, you need to repent and come back to the Lord so that you do not end up a candidate for hell fire.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Father Lord, send Your axe of fire to the root of every evil plant in my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. I refuse to be a dead Christian, in the name of Jesus.

3. I refuse to be a slumbering Christian, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Any power dragging me down to hell fire, die, in the name of Jesus.

5. O Lord, revive my spirit man, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every conspiracy of darkness working against my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.

7. I break the law of death over my life, in the name of Jesus.
