WORSHIP & PRAISE
O LORD MY GOD

1 O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalm 11:1-7

Psalm11:1-7:-(King James Version)

11 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4 The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

5 The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

7 For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

The Bible says that the things that are written are for our learning. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and its attendant challenges turn to God and reassure yourself that He is on the throne and with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Also, as pestilences, hunger, killings and all manner of perils assail the world, let your reaction be as faith-filed and scriptural as David’s. The Psalmist said, “.. .We will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the waters thereof roarand be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof” (Psalm 46:2-3).

Dear reader, take a cue from David. Do not fear. It opens the door of your life to evil spirits and makes you insecure. Faith does the opposite. It strengthens God’s hedge of protection around you. So, stay in God and have faith in Him. He is your refuge and strength.

In the midst of life’s insecurities, He is the greatest security!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Father, I declare that You are my refuge and ever-present help, in the name of Jesus.

2. I declare that my God will not leave me nor forsake me, in the name of Jesus.

3. In the face of the current insecurity in the world, I declare that God is my security, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Thank You, Father, for giving me Your immunity, in the name of Jesus.

5. Thank You, Father, for protecting and preserving me and my family, in the name of Jesus.

6. I reject the spirit of fear and choose to live faith, in the name of Jesus

7. I declare that my help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth, in the name of Jesus.
