PRAISE & WORSHIP:

CONQUERORS AND OVERCOMERS NOW ARE WE

Conquerors and overcomers now are we,
Thro’ the precious blood of Christ we’ve victory
If the Lord be for us we can never fail,
Nothing ‘gainst His mighty power can e’er prevail.

WAY TO READ THE HOLY BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Daniel 3:13-30, Daniel 4:1-18, 2 Peter 2, Proverbs 29:1-9

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:1-18 (KJV)

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

MEMORY VERSE:
“He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.” – Proverbs 14:21

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
The man on top of the mountain did not fall there.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 28/11/22:
I DECREE THAT THE LORD WILL MAKE YOU A LIGHT FOR THOSE IN DARKNESS AND A CHANNEL OF BLESSING FOR THOSE IN NEED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

28-11-22 MESSAGE:

So far, we have seen that becoming a mountain-top believer, rewarding as it is, comes with a price. Let us look more at the steps we must take to achieve this goal.

The fifth important step is that you should be knowledgeable about spiritual warfare, be equipped for it and engage in it. You are a soldier of Christ and should not sit on the fence or be entangled with affairs of the world. Be conscious of the ongoing spiritual battle between the forces of darkness and the forces of light. As a believer, you must fight on the side of God and your victory will be guaranteed. This is a great secret for living a mountain-top life and becoming more than a conqueror as the Bible rightly describes you.

Put on the whole armour of God: faith, gospel of truth, helmet of salvation, sword of the spirit, righteousness and pray all kinds of prayer (Ephesians 6:12-18). These weapons are not for decoration; use them to put the devil and his demons on the run! As you fight on the Lord’s side and win daily, you will depopulate the kingdom of darkness and populate the kingdom of God.

The sixth important step that will help you to become a mountain-top believer is that you should be a channel of blessing to others. Look for a way to assist God’s work and your spiritual leader(s) in your church. Also look for ways to help the less privileged, the poor and vulnerable. In Proverbs 14:21, the Bible says, “He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.”

Similarly, Psalm 41:1-3 outlines God’s precious promises and blessings for those who help the poor, “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him. unto the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.”

Beloved, I encourage you to imitate Jesus, who went about doing good and helping others. You will live a mountain-top life, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. I put on the whole armour of God, in the name of Jesus.

2. O God, arise and make me an overcomer, in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, give me the grace and power to demonstrate Your kind of love to others, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

1. O God, arise and make me a channel of blessing to others, in the name of Jesus.

2. My Father, enlarge my coast, in the name of Jesus.

3. Mercy of the living God, locate me and my family now, in the name of Jesus.

4. The anointing to prosper and fulfil my destiny, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
