Welcome to MFM Devotional, 10/10/22

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 16, Jeremiah 17, Colossians 4:2-18, Psalm 118:17-29

Memory Verse: Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Motivational Quote:
Until you come out of the crowd, your vision and focus would remain cloudy.

Prophetic Word for 10/10/22, Today, receive the power to remain focus and purpose driven, in the name of Jesus.

Fire Scripture: Mark 5:24-34 (KJV)

24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague

PRAISE & WORSHIP
I NEED THEE EV’RY HOUR

1 I need Thee ev’ry hour,
Most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine
Can peace afford.

Refrain:
I need Thee, oh, I need Thee;
Ev’ry hour I need Thee;
Oh, bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.

2 I need Thee ev’ry hour,
Stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their pow’r
When Thou art nigh. [Refrain]

3 I need Thee ev’ry hour,
In joy or pain;
Come and abide,
Or life is vain. [Refrain]

4 I need Thee ev’ry hour,
Teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises
In me fulfill. [Refrain

MESSAGE 10-10-22:-
As we continue to look into reasons for staying clear of the crowd. In the crowd, you sometimes get to lose valuable items to pick pockets and street boys. These are the physical representatives of the roaring lion that goes about seeking who to devour. The unusual and tight closeness in the crowd makes it easy for stealing and other nefarious activities to prosper. My candid advice this morning is that you take a step to recover at all cost what the crowd might have stolen from you, in the name of Jesus.

Like the woman with the issue of blood, refuse to allow the crowd hinder you from getting your healing and your miracle! She pushed through the crowd. It was a relentless effort. She made up her mind to touch Jesus by all means, if she didn’t succeed in seeing him. Strong faith indeed! She ended up touching the edge of His garment. Alleluia! She was made whole!

What would have been her lot if she had remained resigned in her mind, filled with self pity, and decided to accept her situation, continue in her suffering? She would have ended her life in misery. She didn’t allow the crowd to hinder her. You can say No, to the crowd too. Do not allow people and situation to hinder your progress and success. God expects you to arise and do the uncommon to make the impossible possible by the power of God.

Zaccheus was another man who has to do the unexpected to get his desire. In spite of his small stature, he climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus. Not only did he see, he got saved and received a divine visitation, hosting the Saviour Himself. What if he had kept quiet and remained unperturbed. Or perhaps full of excuses, grumbling and complaining?

Jesus had to put aside the crowd to get to Lazarus tomb and called him forth. He did the same at the house of Jairus, where He brought back to life his sick but dead daughter (Mark 5:35-41). Remember, that Jesus knew what is on the head of men, else, He brushed aside the wailers and mourners miserable comforters, so that their doubts unbelief and fear would not hinder the people from witnessing the manifestation of God’s power.

It is time for you to wade through the crowd and get your long-expected miracle, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:
