Ephesians 5:14 -“`”Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”“`

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES:
Awake! Thou that sleepest, arise from the dead! The Lord still lives today. His power has never abated.

PRAISE and WORSHIP

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
TODAY, GOD SHALL AWAKE YOU FROM EVERY EVIL SLUMBER, AND ALL YOUR ENEMIES SHALL FLEE BEFORE YOU IN SEVERAL WAYS, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

MFM 10/6/22 MESSAGE:
The sleepers being referred to in our Memory Verse are the ones in darkness, thick darkness. They are also in ignorance and are not aware of their real condition. Even though they think they are knowledgeable and have all the riches and pleasures in the world, they still have no sense, no spiritual knowledge, and they feel those people that have are foolish, not knowing they themselves are the real foolish ones.

Sleepers can also mean those who are satisfied with their sins; they think they have it all and feel they don’t need anybody. Pride is their best friend. They want the power, protection and all the good things you get from God, but they don’t want God (2 Timothy 3:4). Beloved, those that belong to this group are in very serious trouble because they are opened to all kinds of spiritual attacks, and eternity is not even sure for them when their time is up.

But God is merciful. He is calling us to wake up from the dead and come out of darkness. He is telling us to call upon Him, so that His light will shine upon every dark area of our lives (John 1:5). He is knocking on the door of our lives day and night, pleading for us to open the door for Him so that He can commune with us and we will not perish. He is calling us to live Holy lives that will make us to be a light to this dark world.

When we do this, God has promised to shine on us, bestow His favour and His honour on us, and we would become His dwelling place for His Holy Spirit, who will be our guide and help us daily to do what we ought to do. We would be His people, and He will be our God. Then finally, we would enjoy eternal life with Him. Hallelujah.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. O Lord, awake me from every slumber, in the name of Jesus.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus, I destroy every power planting slumber in my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord, restore to me my wasted years of slumber, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. My Father, open the doors of opportunity for me, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every power that has taken what belongs to me during my time of slumber, I pursue you, I overtake you, and I recover all the good things that belong to me, in the name of Jesus.

6. Powers denying me of my due miracles, die, in the name of Jesus.

7. I bind and cast out every strong man in my life, family or environment who has refused to release me from evil slumber, in the name of Jesus.
