FIRE SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:20-27

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
LET EVERY POWER SAYING “NO” TO THE MANIFESTATION OF CHRIST IN YOUR LIFE, DIE, IN JESUS’ NAME.

The MESSAGE:

At creation, God poured Himself into man — “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7). “The breath of life”, vomited into man, made him a carrier of God’s life and of His glorious presence. God was literally living in man! Man was operating in God’s frequency, filled with holiness, power and authority. Man was truly a pleasure to behold.

However, the devil came and destroyed man’s divine destiny. The seed of iniquity was planted in man. The fellowship with God was broken and man became a slave to the devil, having displaced God from the life of man (1 John 3:8-10). Fortunately, Jesus came to the rescue of man by dying on the Cross at Calvary for the total redemption and transformation of man.

Undoubtedly, one of the mysteries of your redemption is that Jesus Christ wants to live in you. If you must keep on living a victorious Christian life, then Christ must be in you. If you must exercise your authority over the hosts of darkness, Christ must be in you.

To put the devil where he belongs and to take the destructive monster — Mr flesh, Christ must permanently have His residence in your life. To become a master over situations and circumstances of life, it takes Christ in you. To survive these end times, Christ must be in you. To fulfil your appointment with destiny, Christ must be in you. To conquer the battles of life, Christ must be in you.

Unfortunately, many Christians think they can defeat the devil, the world and the flesh in their own strength without the vital union with Christ. Beloved, Christ in you is the guaranteed key to your consistent victory, joy, peace, blessings, glory, destiny fulfilment, dominion, authority and the hope of reigning with God in eternity.

However, Christ cannot be in you if you are still living in sin. That is the reason why you must accept Him as your Lord and Saviour so that He can come and take His rightful place in your life.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Holy Ghost fire, purify my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Lord Jesus, take Your place in my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord, let Your beauty overwhelm my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Anything in me that is not of Christ, die, in the name of Jesus.

5. Evil appetite in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord Jesus, let my heart cleave unto You, in the name of Jesus.

7. Jesus, You are the Resurrection and the Life, take over my life, in the name of Jesus.
