God Destroys Nadab and Abihu

10 Then Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu made a mistake. They took their incense dishes and put some fire and incense in them. But they did not use the fire that was on the altar—they took fire from some other place and brought it to the Lord. This was not what he had commanded. 2 So fire came from the Lord and destroyed Nadab and Abihu, and they died there in front of the Lord.

MESSAGE for today 14/4/22:
The Bible is replete with accounts of untimely death both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Abel was the first person who died untimely. His brother, Cain, clubbed him to death because his sacrifice was rejected and Abel’s was accepted.

Untimely death continued to claim people from then on. It is often caused by issues that can be overlooked and trivial things that should not even receive attention. Today, this ugly trend has not stopped and untimely death has continued to harvest souls. Dear reader, you will not die untimely, in the Name of Jesus.

Yesterday, we talked about the son of the widow of Nain. Today, in our Fire Scripture, we want to look at some children of Levi who were priests of the Lord but because they brought strange fire to the altar of the Lord, they died suddenly. Nadab and Abihu were killed because, as priests, they defied God and showed complete disrespect for the holy place by using fire from a clearly forbidden source. These disobedient priests refused to take God’s commandments seriously.

Dearly beloved, there was a similar incident like that in the book of Acts 5:1-10, where a couple decided to lie to the Holy Spirit and they fell down and died.

Disobedience, lies and all sorts of vices have brought the pain of sudden death to mankind. Sudden death or untimely death is not God’s agenda, but because man had decided to do his own thing and push God aside, the harvest of souls too has gone down. May the good Lord of heaven deliver us, in Jesus’ Name.

Young men and women die like fowls these days because of money rituals and the love of fast and ill-gotten wealth. Beloved, the Bible says, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not (Proverbs 1:10). Fear the Lord and He will keep you. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. God’s utmost desire is that you fulfil the number of your days. It is the enemy that wants you to die young.

I pray that the enemy’s desire for you shall perish. If you have not given your life to Jesus before now, please do so now!

1. Death shall not swallow me, in the Name of Jesus.

2. Any power digging a grave for me shall fall inside it, in the Name of Jesus.

4. Any evil power projecting into my life in the night, catch fire, in the Name of Jesus.

5. Any evil visitor from the grave appearing and disappearing in my dream, die and appear no more, in the Name of Jesus.

6. O God my Father, breathe Your fresh breath inside of me, in the Name of Jesus.

7. Any evil thing programmed into my life to kill me before my time, die by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
