PRAISE & WORSHIP:

Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Judges 6, Judges 7, Judges 8; 1 Timothy 5, 1 Timothy 6

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Corinthians 7:1:-“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

13 MARCH PROPHETIC WORD:
Every arrow of settlement fired against you shall not prosper, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 15:10-20:-
And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

13 MARCH MESSAGE:
Defilement is  an act of polluting sumeone or anything. It means to desecrate, to spoil or destroy the purity of a person.  Defilement is to render something  or someone unclean, or impure. As Christians, the standard of God for us is to maintain consistent life of holiness.

Going through the Fire Scripture, we noticed that Jesus Christ also taught about possibility of a person becoming defiled and the actions that can bring about defilement. It is clear that defilement starts from the heart before it translates to an act of sin.

As a Christian who wants to live acceptably before God, you need to daily wage war against every appearance or fealing of impurity. One of the sharp instruments the devil is using attack christians these days in order to confuse them, unsettle their destiny, rob them of inner peace, make them unfit to stand before God and to eventually deny them eternity with Christ is the arrow of defilement.

Parts of the arrow of defilement the enemy is employing against Christians are sexual impurity, idolatry, evil thought, evil imagination, unclean desire, anger, malice, unforgiveness, obscenity, dirty music and movies, greed, bittemess, evil appetite, evil
companionship, stealing, sexual dreams, eating in the dreams and every form of ungodiiness.

The enemy of our souls has vowed to hinder many Christians from serving God correctly and to lead them to hell eventually if possible. That is the reason why defilement is becoming a dangerous end-time weapon. Are you going to fold your arms and watch the enemy make complete mess of your life and destiny?

Our memory verse says “… let us cleanse ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” You need to wage war against defilemert by keeping your heart with all diligence, fill your heart daily with God’s Word, consciously apply the Blood of Jesus continually upon your entire being, engaging in spiritual warfare and by allowing the Holy Spirit to possess you fully every day.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING:

1. Holy Ghost fire, purify my spirit, soul and body, in the name of Jesus.

2. Fountain of uncleanness in my life, dry up now, in the name of Jesus.

3. Holy Spirit of God, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Idols of my father’s house, vomit me by fire, in the name of Jesus.

5.Wicked hand lifted to break my glory, wither by fire, in the name of Jesus.

6. I  eat the fire of God and drink the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

7. Power of holiness, possess me completely, in the name of Jesus.
