PRAISE & WORSHIP:

O God, Thou Giver of all good;
Thy children live by daily food;
And daily must the prayer be said,
Give us this day our daily bread.

2. The life of earth and seed is Thine;
Suns glow, rains fall, by power divine;
Thou art in all; not e’en the powers
By which we toil for bread are ours.

3. What large provision Thou hast made!
As large as is Thy children’s need;
How wide the bounteous love is spread!
Wide as the want of daily bread.

4. Since every day by Thee we live,
May grateful hearts Thy gifts receive;
And may the hands be pure from stain
With which our daily bread we gain.

PSALM 104: 24-28
24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good

TUESDAY 30 JAN MESSAGE:
Today we want to give God praise for His matchless gifts to humanity. We adore Him who freely gives us all things to enjoy. We worship the One on whom the whole universe depends for sustenance. He is the One who feeds the whole world and never runs dry. Glory be to God in the highest!

God’s gifts to us cannot be quantified. He is an unrepentant giver. He is open-handed to mankind. He gave his Son for our redemption. Humanity would have been doomed but for God’s gift of love to us through His Dear Son. He let go whom He loves to rescue a world of sinful and loveless men. What a matchless Giver!

He gives us life, breath, wisdom, riches, anointing, intellect, creativity, and many more. What has God not done for us? What has He not given us? He gives us freely everything to enjoy. What then can we give to God in appreciation? Nothing but genuine thankfulness.

Indeed, God is the greatest giver of all. His is the most unselfish and most liberal heart. In James 1:7, the Bible affirms that every good and every perfect gift comes from Him. We owe all that we have and enjoy today to Him alone. His gifts to us are matchless in value because they are more precious and more valuable than all the gold, silver and precious stones on planet earth.

He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He also gave us the Holy Spirit. These are gifts that the money in all bank vaults all over the world cannot buy. He owns the oxygen we breathe in and the carbon dioxide we breathe out though we do not know how he manufactured them.

He gives life to all things (Roman 4:17, 1 Timothy 6:13). His gifts are also matchless in postive impacts as they bless the whole world.

Beloved, let us give ceaseless thanks and praise to God, the Owner and Giver of all who gave us salvation, healing deliverance and knowledge, wisdom and understanding, unalloyed joy and perfect peace, progress, etc.

Let us also imitate Him by being generous and sacrificial in giving. In appreciation of our God, the Matchless Giver, I enjoin you to sing the hymn for today, “The Giver of All” by Christopher Wordsworth.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of Jesus Christ to us, in the name of Jesus.

2 Father of Light, I worship You for the gift of life. Thank You for the breath I breathe. Thank you for the privilege to be alive, in the name of Jesus.

3. Thank You, Jesus, for the mercy, grace and favour I enjoy on every side, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Thank You Holy Spirit for being my Comforter and Guide, in the name of Jesus.

5.Thank You for the gift of my family and loved ones, in the name of Jesus.

6. Thank You Jesus for the church of God and privilege of fellowship, in the name of Jesus.

7. Thank You Jesus for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will still do for me, in the name of Jesus.
