PRAISE & WORSHIP:
For use, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
1 O worship the King all-glorious above,
O gratefully sing his power and his love:
our shield and defender, the Ancient of Days,
pavilioned in splendor and girded with praise.
2 O tell of his might and sing of his grace,
whose robe is the light, whose canopy space.
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
and dark is his path on the wings of the storm.
3 Your bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
it streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
and sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalm 119:1-16 {KJV}
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

06—-01—- MESSAGE:
The power of God’s infallible word is awesome and profound. It is the all-purpose, life-giving and life-changing force that offers solution to all human problems. However, the present day believers have highly under-valued and under-utilised this immensely beneficial divine gift.
This is why we shall turn our attention, today, to the excellency of God’s word and encourage believers to take advantage of its numerous life-transforming blessings.
What are the awesome benefits of the word of God that should make us value and cherish it extremely as. believers? Here are some of them:
{1} God’s word is full of divine blessings granted by God to those who honour His word, keep His testimony and seek Him with their whole hearts – Psalm 119:1-2, Matthew 6:22-24
{2} It offers protection against sin. In Psalm 119: 9, 11, 16 the Bible assures us that we can overcome our battle against sin and dislodge the tempter and accuser by taking heed to God’s word, by hiding it in our hearts and by delighting ourselves in it and not forgetting it.
{3} It offers fullness of life. God’s word is the source of Zoe, God’s kind of life that is full, abundant and eternal.
{4} It gives believers spiritual perception and invaluable counsel – .
Psalm 119 17-24, John 10:10. {5} It gives believers strength in sorrows and trials. It has enlivening power ard the ability to move you from despair to strength or fortitude — James 1:2-4.
God’s word does even more. {6} It establishes the fear of God and provides the grace to live in conformity with God’s way and will -Psalm 119: 33-40, Proverbs. 1:7. {7} It saves to the uttermost — Psalm 119:41, 1Timothy 2:4, 1 Peter 3:15.
Beloved, you can record phenomenal success, groundbreaking achievements, progress with giant strides as. well as jaw-dropping testimonies this year if you give God’s word a pre-eminent place in your life. Love it more than your necessary food. Value it more than gold and silver. Let it fill your memory. Make it your map, staff, compass and sword as well as your final authority.
Finally, obey God’s commandment in Joshua 1:8 {today’s memory verse}. 2024 will be your best year ever, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Father, help me to give Your word pre-eminence in my life this year and beyond, in the name of Jesus.
2. I overcome distractions and hindrances assigned to keep me from God’s word and prayer, in the name of Jesus.
3. My Father, wash and purify me with Your word, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Father, give me the grace to honour, obey and apply Your word constantly, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, let Your word dwell in me richly more and more, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, let Your word yield bountiful fruits and blessings in my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. I claim the all-purpose and cure-all power in the word of God, in the name of Jesus.
