Magu: is he fighting corruption or corruption fighting him?

That the Presidency at last taken a bold step, suspended the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

It seems that corruption is fighting back as the hunter of corruption has engulfed in alleged corruption.

Magu has now been suspended pending when a decision will be taken on him.

It would be recalled that the Acting EFCC Chairman was arrested yesterday Monday by a combined team of Department of State Services personnel and policemen at the Wuse II office of the EFCC to face an interagency committee investigating corruption allegations against him.

He was detained at the FCID in Area 10, Abuja, on Monday night on the orders of the committee that also questioned him on Tuesday morning.
