The ship of the All Progressives Congress (APC) appears to have been averted from hitting the rocks as the Chairman Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Mai Mala Buni has regained full control of the party machinery.
This is after the events of the last one week where Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger State announced himself as the acting chairman of the party leading to speculations about the position of Mai Mala Buni.
In a release by the Secretary General of the Party Senator John Akpanudedehe, the Buni-led CECPC while addressing the recent happenings in the party used the opportunity to announce the constitution of the various committees for the 2022 APC National Convention.
According to the release a copy of which allcitynews.ng received, the CECPC assured the members and stakeholders of the party that there is no crisis within their fold, and that the APC is strong, united in giving Nigeria the transformative leadership and good governance it deserves which she promised them.

As approved by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Mai Mala Buni, please find the list of Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen and Secretaries of the various sub-committees for the Party’s 2022 National Convention (as earlier published). The underlisted and approved sub-committees supersede any other list in circulation.

We reiterate the call by President Buhari to all Party supporters, members and leaders to work in unison to ensure a smooth transition to the National Convention.
