9 days to go: CICAN holds Agenda setting Seminar for incoming Fed Govt, inauguration of new officials

With nine more days to swearing-in of new administration, Journalists covering real sector of the economy, under the aegis of Commerce and Industry Correspondence Association of Nigeria (CICAN) has expressed its readiness to set agenda for the President-elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and others.

The CICAN agenda setting ceremony will be taking place at a seminar on Thursday May 25, 2023 by 10.00am.

The Chairman of the association, Mr Charles Okonji, who made this known explained that the event which will hold at the Manufacturing Association of Nigeria (MAN) Hall, 77 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos,  will also be used for the investiture and inauguration of CICAN new executives.

According to Okonji, the occasion will afford stakeholders the opportunity to take a critical look at how they had fared in the outgoing administration and what they would expect from the incoming one.

Expected at the event are the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Dapo Abiodun, President of MAN, Otunba Frances Meshioye; the President of NACCIMA, Ide John C. Udeagbala; the former President of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Chief (Mrs) Toki Mabogunje, captains of industry and other stakeholders.

Commerce and Industry Correspondence Association of Nigeria (CICAN) has over 70 members comprising of the print, online and broadcast media.
