PRAISE & WORSHIP:
PRAY ALWAYS PRAY

Pray always pray;
the Holy Spirit pleads
Within thee all thy daily,
hourly needs.

beneath sin’s heaviest load
Prayer sees the blood
from Jesus’ side that flowed.

01\09\23 PROPHETIC WORD:
As you wait upon the Lord, you shall become a new man or a new woman in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 40:28-31{KJV}

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint

01|09|23 MESSAGE:

What does it mean to wait upon the Lord? It is the art of waiting through fasting and prayers, reading of the word of God, and other spiritual channels through which a child of God can seek the face of God on particular issues of concern, with the hope of receiving solutions to problems and troubled situations.

Waiting upon the Lord is a completely spiritual activity, not physical, but one that requires patience, faith, long-suffering and self-control, all of which are part of the components of the fruit of the Spirit.

These are necessary ingredients during the period of waiting, as you keep asking, seeking and knocking the door of heaven until God responds. Oftentimes, He does it as He so desires, not of you but of God that makes things beautiful at His own time. This implies that you can’t afford to be impatient.

God cannot be manipulated!

The beautiful part of this kind of waiting is that though the time of manifestation is unknown, yet God takes time to work through the one who is waiting, to bring out a better person and a glorious situation. The Bible states that whosever waits upon Him shall never be put to shame (Ps. 25:3). This is our consolation and our hope. You’re expected to hold on to hope, and believe that He that has promised will perform it. He never fails!

We shall begin to look at the benefits that you can have while waiting upon the Lord. You will not only advance physically but also experience a higher level of spiritual strength and maturity.

Beloved, it pays to wait upon the Lord, seeking His face concerning your situation. As you continue to believe and exercise faith, your expectations shall not be cut off. It shall end in praise, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING:

1. I cast off every manifestation of the spirit of impatience in my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. O God, arise and baptise me with the Spirit of patience and long-suffering, in the name of Jesus.

3. Grace to wait till my appointed day comes, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING:

4. I shall not outrun my day of blessings, in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, reveal to me the secret to my next level, in the name of Jesus.

6. I refuse to chase the wind, I shall not lean on my own understanding, in the name of Jesus.

7. My Father, position me for an encounter that will turn my life around for good, in the name of Jesus.
