Thinking Corner! LASG, what is next step after set up of park management team?

Do not say na mi talkaam oooo!

What next after this park management?

You don hear say Lagos State Government has not only created parks, but has also appointed the management team for those parks.

That park management team has been set up may no longer be news as it only confirmation of age long rumour.

Also do not say I told you that this may be another opened door for touting and their fightings to take over all parks by fire by force. If you doubt allcitynews.ng, then remember the bloody confrontations by agberos in time past.

In fact, this is legalised agbero or glorified touting. But keep your fingers crossed while watching for the unfolding events that could take place very soon.

That such development has already been put in place. But the question is after this, what is the next step or way to go for the park management team?

It would be recalled that Lagos Government on 7 April 2022 set up Parks Management Committee.

Their task oversee the affairs of all motor parks and garages in the state.

This is in fulfillment of the Government’s promise to ensure that events in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are not allowed to threaten law and order.

The Government has, therefore,  exercised its constitutional powers to ensure that no vacuum, which can disrupt the peace of our dear state, is allowed to exist in the parks. This is a duty we owe all Lagosians and  visitors.

According to Gbenga Omotoso
HC, Information & Strategy, the members of the committee, who have been selected following consultations with stakeholders in the sector, are:
