TONIGHT ASSIGNMENT BETWEEN 11.45PM & 12.15AM  SEPTEMBER: PRAY THESE PRAYERS ON YOUR TOOLS OF LABOUR:

Father, I commit my implements of labour/career/business unto Your holy hands. Let these implements be enveloped with divine favour, prosperity magnet, breakthrough attractions, excellence, power to be a lender and not a borrower, positive-story-changing anointing, uncommon breakthroughs, and coast enlargement, in the name of Jesus.

I soak my labour/career/business implements into the blood of Jesus and into the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

1. I break the curse of poverty in my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Every spirit drinking the blood of my wealth, I bind you, in the name of Jesus.

3. I rebuke every devourer in my finances, in the name of Jesus.

4. I dismantle any power working against my efficiency, in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord, let the riches of the Gentiles be transferred to me, in the name of Jesus.

6. O Lord, lead me to those who will bless me, in the name of Jesus.

7. Lord, let divine magnets of prosperity be planted in my hands, in Jesus’ name.

8. I will rise above the unbelievers around me, in the name of Jesus.

9. O Lord, make me a reference point of divine blessings, in the name of Jesus.

10. Lord, let the anointing of excellence fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

11. O Lord, network me with divine helpers, in the name of Jesus.

12. Lord, let all those who hate my prosperity be put to shame, in the name of Jesus.

13. I shall not die undiscovered, in the name of Jesus.

14. I shall not die unused and unsung, in the name of Jesus.

15. I shall not die unfruitful and unfulfilled, in the name of Jesus.

16. I shall not give up, because I have believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, in the name of Jesus.

18. I receive the strength of the Lord to leap over the wall of impossibilities, in the name of Jesus.

25. O Lord, reshuffle my environment to favour me, in the name of Jesus.

26. Every power, assigned to scatter my resources, dry up, in the name of Jesus.

27. Every power, assigned to suppress my elevation, die, in the name of Jesus.

Topic: THE BATTLE AGAINST CRYPTIC DEMONS {2}

Text: 1 Samuel 19:23–24; Revelation 18:2; Matthew 12:43–44.

One of the tragedies of life is for somebody to be ignorant of his battles – you have no idea what you are going through. No wonder the Bible says “my people,” not the devil’s people “are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. Ignorance is a destroyer. It is a terrible thing.

Last time, we discussed this issue a little bit. We read 1 Samuel 19, which we will read today again. It tells us a very deep story and explains so many things about the travails of men. It explains so many things that many people do not understand, and some questions people keep asking.

Saul the king was prophesying by the Spirit of the Living God, not by demonic spirits. But then, as he prophesied, he tore off his own clothes, and he was naked, rolling on the floor, and still prophesying. Meaning that two spirits were at work—the spirit of God prophesying through him and the demonic spirit making him tear off his clothes and roll about.

Herein lies the deep problem. There are spirits that are cryptic. They stay in hiding. Why? They do not want you to deal with them. They do not want you to know they are there. So they hide. They wait for the appropriate hour to strike. We call them CRYPTIC DEMONS.

**I am praying for somebody here: any demon that is waiting to attack you on your day of celebration and on your day of joy, I bury that power! in the name of Jesus.

1 Samuel 19:23–24 (KJV): “And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah. And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?”

So there is a class of spirits called cryptic demons. They are secret, masquerading demons. They could hide from the cradle to the grave. And at last Power Must Change Hands, I began to explain to you about the three temples in the Bible:
– the temple of Solomon.
– the temple of Herod and
– the temple of our bodies.

And last time, we read in Acts that the Almighty does not dwell in temples made with hands and that the life of man is a temple. That day, I explained that man is a spirit, living in a body and having a soul. The body consists of flesh, blood, and bones. The soul consists of mind, will, and emotions.

The spirit consists of knowledge, communication, and conscience. If you want more information, get the tape.

And of all these sections of man’s life, any part can be in bondage. So our body is the temple of the Almighty. It is actually the third temple. But listen very well. The devil has turned the temple of many people today to what we read in Revelation 18:2, “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”

It is a pity that bad spirits are dwelling in the temples of many believers. Remember, a man is three in one. This is what we are trying to explain. That body, which is made of bones, flesh, and blood, can be in the bondage of evil spirits while the spirit man is totally free. The mind can be under the total control of evil spirits. The soul can be under the control of evil spirits, while the body and the spirit are free. If the spirit comes under the control of evil spirits, that is what people call possession, oppression, and obsession.

A situation where a spirit enters a person, suppresses the normal spirit, and it is now another thing that is representing the person. It is a terrible thing, indeed.

This is the major spirit you find in psychiatric hospitals. The kind of spirit that has entered a person, suppresses the normal spirit, and now the person is exhibiting a different character. So that is what is called possession, obsession, or oppression. The person is in bondage internally.

For a person to be a wizard, a witch, or somebody who goes out of the body to do wicked things, that thing is inside the spirit. Those ones are possessed. So these three departments can be engaged in bondage. This is the typical character you find in Saul here. Saul was not only a king, but he was also a prophet. Unfortunately, he was an unstable character.

He was suffering from self-will, envy, a violent temper, and all kinds of jealousy. Eventually, the spirit of God departed from him, and an evil spirit took over his life. That jealousy made him to be attacking David, and from time to time, that evil spirit took the upper hand in his life.

The spirit of God came upon a man in whom an evil spirit had taken possession of his life. So the torment of Saul was caught between two conflicting forces, good and evil, and he took off his clothes. When the spirit of God had the upper hand, he would prophesy. When that spirit did not have the upper hand, Saul would begin to manifest all kinds of things.

This kind of situation you find in Saul should not continue for a long time. If it happens for a long time, then the spirit of God will depart from such a person. Matthew 12 is very revealing in this matter. Try to understand this very well, because some people ask questions when certain things happen.

Matthew 12:43–44 (KJV): “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.”

The spirit is calling the life of man “My house”. That is why it is important to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit to fill that house. The glory of God cannot fill your temple when you have dirt there. When Jesus appeared in that temple, He appeared with a whip to whip out the traders in the temple. The traders are the unclean spirits.

This is why you can see somebody who claims to be holy and does something horrible. Why should somebody who is prophesying also curse and abuse people? Why should somebody pray for a sick person and the sickness comes back to him?

Somebody who will sing just now, and the spirit of God will come down, and when the same person loses their temper, the whole place will be boiling.

Why should a child of God be telling lies? Why should somebody pray a hot prayer, and after praying, the fear still comes to grip his heart? There is a spirit there that should go.

It is strange, but true, beloveth, that a believer may have the Holy Spirit inside his spirit and still have demons afflicting the body. Those demons are traders inside the temple.

Some Christians who speak in tongues have horrible experiences in their dreams, like eating with dead relatives, playing on water, playing with snakes, getting married in the dream, and then they start backsliding. This is a very serious matter, and this is why we need to pray really hard.

There is a good anointing, and there is a negative anointing. When the spirit of God is at work, the good anointing comes upon him. When the other spirit is at work, the bad anointing comes up.

There is anointing of anger—the body will be shaking, the person will be stammering, the person will become violent and refuse to be pacified, yet this same person will preach, speak in tongues, and still get so easily provoked.

I have seen somebody swearing during a traffic jam. This man is a pastor, and somebody drove roughly in front of him. He came out and shouted, “Bastard! Idiot! Rubbish!” Then he went back into his car and was speaking in tongues. Two spirits on a man.

There is anointing of anger. It is a spirit entirely. This is a very serious matter. Many years ago, when I was a young scientist, I went to visit a very important person. I arrived at the office and sat down. The staff there were discussing. They first of all looked at me and said, “This man looks like an Igbo man,” so they started speaking in Yoruba, and they decided to wind up their boss that I came to see inside the office.

So one of them just opened the door and said “Sir, that file has disappeared, and we cannot find it again”. Oh, he lost his temper and started shouting and screaming, banging on the table, and the staff were laughing.

Then, after some time, they decided to calm him down, and they said, “Sir, we have found the file,” and then he calmed down. Just look at what the anointing of anger is doing to a person.

Let me be honest with you, beloveth: If you can still be throwing violent anger and be so angry to the level that nobody can calm you down, you need deliverance. The bottom line is that there is a demon in your body that needs to go out. The truth must be said.

Anger in the school of deliverance and in the spirit realm is a door opener. Once that anger starts, it opens the door for other demons to enter. After the demons have entered and you now calm down, they are already inside.

It is a door opener. That is why couples should not be getting angry and fighting themselves because doors would open and all kinds of things would come in, and once they come in, getting them out is not as easy as you think.

It is so easy to control anger. Any time you are angry, do not talk. Keep your mouth shut. Get away from the place. Do praise, worship, or sing in tongues. Once you do not give it expression, the anger will die stillborn.

But if the spirit of anger says, “We are here!” and you begin to talk, they will grow more. They will invite more. So the reason the spirit of anger is using some people and the spirit of God is using them is because there are two spirits in them, but eventually, the anger in them will push them into hellfire.

There is an anointing of sexual perversion. At that moment when it starts, even if the woman is saying “Leave me; I am HIV positive”, the man will not think again. At that moment, the person becomes senseless. The man will not even remember that it is his housemaid or his daughter that he is trying to sleep with. It is a spirit, an anointing.

This is the reason we need to deal with these spirits, because for some people, when that anointing comes upon them, until they have committed the sin, their body will calm down. There is an anointing of evil speech and bad language. Such people can hardly control what they are saying.

They can talk to a person, and the person will decide to commit suicide. And after they have spoken and spoken and there is plenty of trouble, they begin to say “I am sorry”. When the spirit of God has the upper hand, they say “I am sorry”, but when that spirit is in place, they keep talking. There is an anointing of depression.

One time, the person was happy and rejoicing in the Lord. At another time, the person is sad. These are the activities and powers of cryptic demons. We are going to stop here and continue next time.
