PRAISE & WORSHIP:

1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
the joys I feel, the bliss I share
of those whose anxious spirits burn
with strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
where God my Savior shows his face,
and gladly take my station there,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I’ll cast on him my every care,

02~~12~~23 PROPHETIC  WORD:
Today, God will transform your prayer life and give dumbfounded testimony, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2: 2-9:

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

02~~12~~23 MESSAGE:

PRAYER is a daily necessity for daily triumph in the life of every believer. This is why the Bible enjoins us to pray without ceasing [1 Thessalonians 5: 17]. You should tell God to give you the spirit of PRAYER and supplication.

The third tool you need to make your prayer effective and prevailing, is MERCY. The MERCY of God is a game-changer. The Bible affirms that mercy triumphs and rejoices over judgment. MERCY will spare you the punishment you deserve. If there is any sin that can hinder your prayer from being answered and your miracles or testimony from you, you need and seek the mercy of God. Heaven will overlook  your mistakes and still bless you.

In Romans 9:15-16, God told Moses: “I have mercy in whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. It is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth, it is of God that showeth mercy.” MERCY is a veritable key for making your prayer effective. God does not ignore that cry for mercy.

I pray that God will rain His Mercy into your life and make your prayer results-oriented, in the name of Jesus.

The fourth tool is GRACE. In Hebrews 4:16, the Bible enjoins us to come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace in time of need. While mercy will ensure you do not get the punishment you deserve, grace will ensure you get good things you ordinarily do not qualify for.

Elijah enjoyed God’s grace in his time. God singled him out and use him mightily though there were 7000 other prophets who had not bowed to Baal nor eaten from his table. God’s grace made Elijah’s word so powerful that he locked up heaven over Israel and there was no rain or dew for three and half years. During the drought and famine that ensued, grace made adequate provisions for Elijah, he did not lack food or drink during that period of famine.

Beloved! God’s mercy and grace are essential components for a great prayer life, and they are obtained, renewed and restored in the place of prayer.  I pray that God will multiply His Mercy and Grace towards you today, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Father! Give me the spirit of prayer and supplication,  in the name of Jesus.

2. Father! Rain Your Mercy into my life and make my prayer to produce amazing results,  in the name of Jesus.

3. Father! Let Your Word in my mouth be powerful and life-transforming, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Father! Multiply Your Grace towards me today, in the name of Jesus.

5. My Father! Deliver my prayer from dormancy and death,  in the name of Jesus.

6. O God Arise! Release Your Grace and Mercy into my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus.

7. I obtain the help of God for prevailing prayer life, in the name of Jesus.
