FIRE SCRIPTURE: Colossians 3:1-5:-
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth* on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 29 MESSAGE:-
As believers in Christ. we have become joint heirs with Christ and we are expected to have His nature, behaviour, attitude and mindset while here on earth. We are also expected to have eternity in view and strive towards heaven where all saints shall live forever. This is and should be our focus.

But my first question to you is that are you a true believer in Christ? Are you sincerely born again? Have you completely surrendered your life to Jesus and accepted Him as your personal Lord and Saviour? Or are you just playing church? If your answer is negative to the initial questions, then prepare to do what is right now, so that this message would have a free course in your life and not be just mere letters.

If you are genuinely born again, no matter the number of years you have been in the Lord, you need to do a deep spiritual self-examination by the help of the Holy Spirit This starts by asking yourself if your mind is actually set on the things above,(heavenly matters) and not on the earthly and mundane things. Where is your affection?

The Bible tells us that a man’s treasure is found where his heart is. If your treasures are earthly bound, then your heart is fixed on vanities and mundane things, instead on things of heavenly values.

Paul counsels us in today’s Fire Scripture that our minds should be set on heavenly issues. We should be focused on our final destination, our final home, which is heaven for those who are true and sincere children of God. As a believer, you must always look unto Jesus Christ, who has gone ahead to make a place for us (John 14:1) and is now seated at God’s right hand. As joint heirs, we are and would be sitting with Him in this heavenly position.

However, that is, if you are not consumed with the vanities of this world. That is why Apostle John admonished us not to love the world and the things in it. All that are in the world will steal the affection and intimacy you ought to have for the Father from you (1 John 2:15-17). Beloved, be wise!

PRAYER POINTS:-

MORNING

1. Lord, give me divine focus in my Christian journey in the name of Jesus.

2. Powers assigned to amputate me on my spiritual journey, fail and die, in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, purge my heart of every spiritual filthiness, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I set my desires on things above and not on earthly vanities, in the name of Jesus.

5. I acknowledge and claim my divine identity in Christ, by the power in the Blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

6. O God, if I have fallen off from the highway to heaven, arise and reposition me to run a profitable race, in the name of Jesus.

7. My life must become a point of contact, drawing others to the kingdomof God, in the name of Jesus.

SPECIAL  NOTICE:-
Salvation of your soul is a task that be done by you.

Being Born Again is the gateway to enter the Throne of God. You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour by confessing the prayer below:
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I confess all my sin, have mercy on me, forgive me all my iniquity. I accept You as my Lord and Personal Saviour. I believe in my heart You died and rose from the dead to set me free. From today, Lord Jesus, come and reign in my life. Thank You Lord for saving me, in Jesus name Amen.

If you sincerely say the prayer of salvation! Congratulations! You are now born again.
