TOPIC FOR TODAY, MONDAY 10: 5: 21: Blessings like sand

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Genesis 22:15-18.

MEMORY VERSE: Joshua 1:8 

 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: That I may know him and the power of His resurrection.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Receive the power to grow, subdue and exercise dominion, in the name of Jesus.

The divine power of God that has saved our souls is able to make us grow without limit. The power of God has given everything we need for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Through these, God has given us his very great and precious promises, so that we may participate in his divine nature. This divine nature will make us effective and productive in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To be blessed in the Kingdom of God is to increase and multiply without limit. This is possible through how much of God we embrace, our love in Him as well as our faith and hope in the Lord.

The promise of God for His children could be seen in the divine mandate given to the first man, Adam, in Gen. 1:28. God has promised to prosper His children and He is still doing the same. He gave His word to Abraham, a covenant of divine multiplication and abundance throughout the generations. No wonder He is called, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Gen 12:1, 26:3-5, 27:26-28).

He promised to bless Abraham and his generations abundantly and He accomplished it. He is still in this business, if only you are ready to attain the level of faithfulness of Christ. Abraham did and was called the friend of God. The Lord extended these promises to His children at various categories and to establish it fully. Jacob physically blessed his sons in Gen 49:1, following this divine promise and covenant of God.

We are the children of God through Christ Jesus. We are qualified as joint heirs of these heavenly blessings. But you see, you cannot continue in ungodliness and expect the blessings to be established in your life (Prov. 10:22).

Jacob could only be fully established in that covenant when he encountered God genuinely, amended his ways, make peace with his brother and God gave him a new name, Israel. Are you a cheat? Do you falsify accounts and records? Do you engage in greedy gains and shady businesses?

Do you seek prosperity “by all means”, even if it is not righteous? Desist from all evil practices; seek God! Believe in His word!

Believe His prophets and you will enjoy these unending, all-round blessings (2 Chr. 20:20b)

PRAYER POINTS

MORNING

1. Lord Jesus, perfect what is lacking in my faith by the glory of Your power, in the name of Jesus.

2. Power of divine prosperity, locate my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. Enemies of divine blessings, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I receive divine strength to multiply, in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord God, feed me with the food of the champion, in the name of Jesus.

6. I refuse to hinder God’s blessings in my life, in the name of Jesus.

7. Abrahamic blessings, my life is available, enter, in the name of Jesus.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Beloved Reader, the sweetest way to enjoy all-round blessings from God in this Year 2021 is to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord & Saviour.  Remember! the Lord Jesus in John 3:3 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless ye are born again, ye cannot see the kingdom of God.”
