GTBank Customers stranded as banking hall shut down over near-zero network

Customers of the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) were left stranded on Thursday evening, as the banking platform experienced hours service failure on all its portals.

Checks revealed that neither the Internet Banking Portal, the Mobile Application, nor the *737# USSD platform were accessible, due to the service failure.

The development left many customers of the bank stranded, as many business transactions are on hold due to the development.

It was also observed that the bank has yet to provide an explanation for the service failure, through its social media pages.

The situation has also elicited reactions on social media.
