The months of cold war, public conflicts and class of interests between the former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole and the current Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki took a new dimension today, as the Godwin Obaseki finally dropped the card of All Progressive Congress (APC).
Obaseki’s action took place today, Tuesday June 16, 2020, after his closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock.
It would be recalled that the governor had earlier decamped to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when his party, the APC screening committee last Friday disqualified him from contesting the forth coming primaries of the party.
Also, it was gathered that the Edo governor defected to the PDP along with all 18 local government chairmen in the state.
