Drama: United Arab Emirates forbids Nigerians from landing on its shore

DRAMA: the economic cold war between United Arab Emirates and Nigeria has taken fresh dimension as United Arab Emirates leadership have started implementation of denials of Nigerians into the country.

Forbidding Nigerians from touching its shores again, the country leadership who have discovered that Nigerians are still entry the country via neighbouring West African countries’ planes have extended it ban by warning such airlines to refrain from bringing Nigerians into the country.

As a result Ethiopian, other Airlines have started implementation of that order by denying Nigerians from boarding their planes.

It would be recalled that Nigeria and United Arab Emirates (UAE) cold war started over allocation of flight frequencies to each country’s Flag Carriers.

Allcitynews.ng discovered that unless peaceful dialogue is employed, the cold war may lead to economic hardship especially on Nigerian businessmen and women who would depend on imported products for this 2021 Christmas sales and marketing.

United Arab Emirates violating the bilateral air agreement wants to be flying into Nigeria as they like, while they cut movement of Nigeria Air Peace not just one per week, but that Air Peace can only land in very remote airport in their country whereas Emirates was given Abuja airport.

It would also be recalled that the two countries have been on cat and dog relationship following the harsh conditions put on ground by Emirates.

For instance: in March, Nigeria suspended Emirates from flying into or out of its territory after the carrier-imposed additional COVID-19 test requirements on passengers from Nigeria . The suspension was lifted after the issues were amicably resolved two weeks ago
