Dr Olukoya lays foundation for PCRC, Stakeholders calls on FG for instalment of CCTV cameras in all public places

The General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has declared open Nigeria Police Force, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ogun State Command (MFM State Unit) Prayer City.

Just as stakeholders calls on Federal Government for instalment of CCTV cameras in all publics to checkmate insecurity and other vices in the country especially in public places.

The stakeholders made this call in the ongoing Security Management Training 2024 and Awareness Seminar for p Pastors, Ministers, Church Workers, Members, Administrator and Security Operatives in Prayer City, 11 May 2024.

In their seperate addresses, the Commandant of Corps, Ogun State command, David Idowu Ojelabi charged all, religious, community, political gatherings to brace up to tackle security threat and urged them to embark in investment in security by setting up of CCTV cameras in all areas to act as additional security of lives and property. CCTV will often help to apprehend offenders.

Since security goes beyond corporate or governments alone everyone should engage community policy
Leadership of worships places must be proactive.

“We need to work in this regard because it will go beyond ammunition carrying. Noting that “our security lies in our own hands”, he explained that shortage of security personnel has shown that everyone should be security conscious.

In his own presentation, the Atayese of Orile-Igbore, Venerable High Chief (Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola charged participants of the need for information, stating that through intelligent gatherings will proactively save lives beyond Ak 47 or other ammunition.

Popoola who is also the Ogun State PCRC Chairman stressed “Security has its own place and religion has its own place as insecurity is a threat to both religious places, we should embark on proactive move.”

Likewise, CP Ayoola Ajala(Rtd), reiterated the calls for more security consciousness because of rising waves of crimes. “In those days, churches don’t close their doors but today, churches are being attacked. Security coverages should go beyond the halls. Since security is everybody’s business, members should also secure yourselves.”
