Commuters applaud RCCG for provision of free buses to residents of Ogun, Lagos states, amidst hardship

That economic hardship is ravaging the land may no longer be news to everyone  the country.

The fresh news is that despite the hardship and high cost of transportation, whereby commercial buses have jacked up their fares, the leadership of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Youth Province 1 has introduced a free bus services.

Just as commuters rained praises and thanksgiving to God and to the church for provision of the buses which are making  movements so easy,  both to and fro, in the morning and in the evening, for people within the area of coverage.

The aimed of the buses, according to the church, is to alleviate the pains everyone is going through on daily basis especially to prune transportation costs for commuters in Lagos and Ogun States.

Again the church said that the initiative, which was launched on Monday, 14 October 2024 is to reduce the high cost of transportation for people plying Lagos-Ibadan Expressway axis.

The free ride, tagged:-Free Bus To Work Powered By RCCG Youth Province 1,”  is meant to last for three months, Monday 14 October 2024 to December 6, 2024.

The announcement which was contained in a post on the Province’s X.com account, read, “there will be buses to transport commuters from different pick-up locations from October 14 to December 6, 2024.

““Free Bus to Work powered by Youth Province 1. Pick-up points: Car Park C/Mowe Bus Stop to Law School, Victoria Island, 5:45 am, 6 am. Car Park C/Mowe Bus Stop to Berger/7Up Bus Stop, 6 am, 7 am, 8 am.

“RCCG Joseph Palace to CMS, 6 am. From Mowe to Sagamu Interchange, 7:30 am. From Agege to Ikeja, 7 am, from Ikorodu to Maryland, 6 am.” Drop off points: Return home from drop off locations by 5:30 pm.”

The post noted that there will be a free Daily Open Heavens Devotional on board each bus.

A member of crew of allcitynews.blog who benefited from the free ride on Thursday, 24 October 2024 from Allen/Alade Bus Stop, Ikeja, learnt the buses also run in the evening.

It noted that the free transportation programme is strictly from Mondays to Fridays, only.
