The leadership of Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has reiterated the expulsion of Bola-Audu from the association.

Even as ASCSN reiterated that the current National President, Comrade (Dr) Tommy Etim Okon remains the captain of the ship of ASCSN until next delegates conference.

The Secretary General of ASCSN, Comrade Joshua Apebo who made this known said the notice became imperative following the recent court judgement which freed Bola Audu of the two years case where he was charged for trafficking in persons.

According to Apebo, the fact that Bola Audu was freed from that court case does not mean his expulsion from the association has been reversed.

“As far as we are concerned, Bola-Audu was expelled by organs of the Association for anti-union activities and he filed a suit at the National Industrial Court (NIC) in Abuja to challenge his expulsion.

“Comrade Tommy Etim Okon remains the National President of Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN).”

Moreover the ASCSN said “We therefore, urge our teeming members throughout the country and the general public to discontenance the misinformation and disinformation in the social media where an expelled member of the Union, one Bola-Audu Innocent is claiming to be the National President of the Association,”

It would be recalled that in 2021, Bola-Audu Innocent and three others were arraigned in a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Maitama, Abuja by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP)
