Unless urgent steps are taken by Federal Government to meet their demands which are mainly tailored towards redeeming the glory of public universities through sound funding, the organised labour in Nigerian universities, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) may go into indefinite strike as it extended the ongoing strike today, Monday 29 August 2022.
The latest action was as a result of their inability to reach agreement.
The decision was taken after the National Executive Council meeting at the union’s headquarters at the University of Abuja on Monday morning
